More Prestige Goods

Omschrijving
A mod that expands the number and variety of prestige goods in the game. These can be made by generic corporations if they fulfill the journal entry requirements. This mod requires the Charters of Commerce dlc to work.

Added goods:
Oil -> Light Sweet Crude
Dye -> Indigo Dye
Engines -> High Horsepower Engines
Glass -> Plate Glass
Wood -> Planed Timber
Iron -> Cast Iron
Steamers -> Ocean Liners
Phones -> Rotary Phones
Wine -> Spumante
Coal -> Anthracite

FAQ:

Q: Why doesn't "X company" get "Y good"?
A: In some cases (flavor companies) I may have just not gotten around to it. In others, I had to make a call because a company can only make one prestige good.

Q:Why doesn't "X good" have a generic version?
A: Each company can only make one prestige good. In some cases (fabric, tobacco, fruit) the generic company already has a preexisting prestige good, so I didn't add a second. In other cases I just didn't feel like making one from whole cloth.

Q: Are the journal entries broken?
A: The journal entries should now display properly as of the latest patch. Even if they don't, the prestige good will still be produced if the company otherwise meets the criteria (36 months of being prosperous and a top 3 producer of that good).

A big thanks to Vummer for their assistance with the art assets.

Feel free to use this as a base in your own mods. If you do, please credit Vummer and I in your descriptions.
Enjoy!

I am running more unique companies, but I have more prestige goods loading below it. Hmm it could be a mod conflict issue which is odd since it was working fine last time in my previous campaigns.

And before 1.9.6 it was producing cast iron, loading the save after that update switched it over to Tungsten

Tungsten? That's somewhat bizarre. If you're running any other mods that add other prestige goods and alter the journal entry file that might be the culprit.

@Kaladin
Playing Spain -> Iberia with Iberian Motors. #1 Producer with 2k engines. Just in case, I let it ran for like 4ish years and no prestige motors was produced

Note this save was originally in 1.9.5 before it was updated to 1.9.6, that could have caused it all to bug out? After the update, my generic iron company instead of producing Cast Iron is also producing tungsten now lol.

That sounds like a bug. Can you tell me which company it was and what your (country) production rank for engines is so I can try to troubleshoot?

The journal entry for
Engines -> High Horsepower Engines
is not triggering despite reaching 100 prosperity. Is this a bug?

Playing on 1.9.6

The journal entry display issue should now be resolved!

I think I had the issue with journal entries being not shown when I've tried to create a new generic good. I didn't test it for 36 month tho. When I've played around and did everything like the game expects, it worked.
