This guide will be useful to all those who want to play Prototype 2 in a new way!

All modifications are installed below. Many textures have been replaced, graphics have been tightened up and the flaws of the vanilla game have been fixed, now the game looks fresh.

This is not a build with an "exe" file for installation, I can't do that. So you'll have to install and configure it yourself (you should already have Prototype 2 purchased and installed)

1. You should have a clean Prototype 2, the latest version, PURCHASED and INSTALLED. (LICENSE ONLY!)
   
2. Once you download and install, run a clean Prototype 2.
   
3. Then go to the root folder with your installed Prototype 2, and delete all files from the folder. (DO NOT DELETE THE FOLDER ITSELF!)
   
4. Download the archive with my build via "Yandex.Disk" or "uTorrent"
   
5. Open the archive and copy all the archive files to your root folder where you previously installed the original Prototype 2.
   
6. In the root folder, there is a file "TexMod.exe" open it. (Make sure to run it as administrator)
   
7. In the tab "Target Application" you need to select the path to the game, and in the tab "Package Name" you will need to select the textures that will be displayed in the game. (Textures are in the "Texmod textures" folder)
   
   
   
8. Once you've selected the textures, press the "Run" button and play.
   
9. Unfortunately, you'll always have to launch the game through "Texmod textures" if you want your textures to be in high resolution.

Prototype 2 Remastered (1.0)[boosty.to]

It may seem complicated, but it's just the opposite. I had a hard time putting it all together, but you will only need to install it in one sitting according to the instructions provided.
All you will need is patience and attention, although I have described everything sequentially and in detail.

I have collected all the mods to improve the visual effect. As a result, I decided to share with people who do not want to install all this from scratch. Many thanks to the modders for releasing various mods and not forgetting about such a great game! Enjoy the game!
