Thanks to some diligent note-taking and contributions from the Binding of Isaac community, here is a short collection of tips and tricks that should help you get through Rebirth. If you have a tip that you'd like to have added to the guide, just get in touch with me and we'll talk.



1: Allow the "Leech" familiar to kill flies that spawn from losing slot machines for easy hearts.

2: "Dr. Fetus" or "Kamikaze!" combined with "Pyromaniac" effectively makes you invincible.

3: The "Haunt" boss is vulnerable to attacks within the first second of walking into the boss room. (May be patched in the future)

4: Using "Jera" in a shop will duplicate all of the consumable items for free.

5: "Dad's Key" can be used to open the Golden Gate door inside The Chest. -SuprisingLee Delicious-

6: Donation Machines can be bombed to withdraw money. -SuprisingLee Delicious-

7: You can bomb the bedroom carpet to find a secret. -Doniazade-

8: The pill "Health Down" turns into "Health Up" if you have one heart or less (from, say, a deal with the devil). Likewise, a "Bad Trip" becomes "Full Health" pill at one heart remaining or less. -JacksonTriggs-

9: "Curse of the Maze" can randomly give you access to closed rooms with enough patience. -JacksonTriggs-

10: The D6 can be used to reroll the two key pieces that drop from angel bosses. -QcChopper-

11: You will survive a devil deal that would normally kill you if the item gives you spirit/black hearts. -Jordan-

12: Taking a deal with the devil will prevent you from getting angel rooms in the future, unless you have bible tract. -Jordan-

13: You can give yourself an early advantage by resetting your game if you do not get a good item on the first floor. Keep doing so until you get a good starting item.
