To make moonshine, you need to first find out how to make it. Pekka knows how, so go ask him. He will ask you to make a drink for him, which is different for each playthrough. Once you have made the drink, he will tell you what you need:

-A moonshine pan
-A source of heat
-A water pump

The source of heat can be pretty much anything that burns, but I found the easiest way is to just use the stove inside the cabin. First, go and buy some metal sheets from Juha and then bring them to Jari. Come back the next day to get the finished pan. Now you will need a water pump, a bucket, and some tape. Put the water pump in the bucket. Bring the pan, bucket and tape to the table in the shed to combine them. Now fill the bucket with water then connect the pump's power cord to a socket. Put the pan on the stove and fill it with kilju. Put another empty bucket under the drip to catch your product.

The first few drops will contain methanol, so be sure to scoop that out with a mug for example. Now you will notice that the alcohol content of your kilju inside the pan will start to drop. When it reaches zero, it's time to toss the rest. You will also notice that your moonshine is dirty, but you can still sell this to Marjatta at least, and she will give you a sieve. Now put charcoal into the sieve and attach it to a bucket to filter the dirty moonshine.

Marjatta and Jari like their moonshine over 70%. I'm not completely sure what the threshold is, but Kalevi didn't accept 70%, so I took him some 80% and he took it. To make your moonshine stronger, simply distill it again. According to discord users Kalevi will accept over 74%,

Vie ämpäri, pontikkapannu ja teippi vajan pöydälle ja yhdistä ne. Täytä ämpäri vedellä ja kytke pumpun virtajohto pistorasiaan. Aseta pannu lieden päälle ja täytä se kiljulla. Laita toinen tyhjä ämpäri tippaputken alle keräämään tuotosta.

Ensimmäiset tipat sisältävät metanolia, joten muista kauhoa ne pois esimerkiksi mukilla. Tämän jälkeen huomaat, että kiljun alkoholipitoisuus pannussa alkaa laskea.
