Lawbringer - Animation Tweaks

Description
v1.01
- fixed white box texture during Afflicted/Heroic sprite for certain palettes.
- added Red + Gold Palette
- Re-tweaked Drunken Recuperation Sprite - less fat-looking and more fit-looking, removed awkward pauldron




Lawbringer – Animation Tweaks - he thicc now

This is a minor visual rework of every sprite and animation of the Lawbringer class that makes him go from slim to ....ripped.

~~~~~~~A subtle result that required a mountain of work (no regrets).~~~~~~~

The original sprite was a super awesome design and fit in great with Darkest Dungeon's style, but I always felt it was a bit too slim for the role. This version gives him bulkier armor, a heavier frame, and just an all-around beefier presence.

Also improves (hopefully) a couple of his skill sprites/animations since I can't help myself.




What’s Changed:
All Sprites Redrawn: thicc



Skill Animations:


Ad Mortem Inimicus (his signature skill) - Tweaked the sprite so it stands out a bit from his regular skills - for now its just a higher contrast red (instead of orange like the rest of his skills) with more shadows. Plus a little red eye glare idk felt cute might delete later.






Shove - Tweaked it so that it looks more like he's hitting them with the handle of his weapon - I always thought the original seems like he's stabbing the enemy with the spear-tip of the halberd in a weird way.





Igneous Amber - Sped up the animation slightly so the sound and impact line up better. No more enemies dying before the bomb explodes.




Palettes:
• The pauldron and loin cloth colours for each palette have been eeeeeever so slightly washed out to match the weathered look of the armor. Less vibrant more grungy. Very subtle.





Load above the original Lawbringer mod to override visuals

@HKR31 I’ll always take a look! It can require a lot of time depending on the class and because I’ll have to play test the class in its current state so I can’t make any promises - but I’ll add it to my list :)

New anims add some girth where it was missing, but my boy still looks like he's 5'7''...

Ah fair enough, I've barely touched the vanilla classes on my current playthrough so I guess I haven't noticed how tall our boy is by default since mod classes tend to be all over the place when it comes to scaling, sometimes unintentionally.
