🧠 Make your choices throughout a sequence of narrative-driven events.
Remember - no matter the dimension, your choices always count.

📌Compatibility:
Fully compatible with all mods and the vast majority of game versions.

You don't have to read this - but if you're willing to, you're more than welcome to read on.

This mod exists because of a dream I once had.
In that dream, I was walking through the streets and alleys of "Gasa". The sun hung low and heavy in the sky, beads of sweat rolled down my skin, kicking up nothing but dust as they fell. Perhaps I was out searching for food, for my wife at home who could no longer produce milk from hunger and dehydration, and for the infant swaddled in her arms. I made my way toward a rumored humanitarian supply point - even though many had already died on the streets or at those so-called distribution sites.
I walked with both hands held high, fingers stretched wide to show I carried no threat - the only way to pass the armed soldiers scattered throughout the streets with a chance of staying alive. It felt as though this place belonged to them, not to us. Still, I accidentally brushed against the rifle slung across a soldier's back - just in passing. The sound of a bolt snapping into place rang out behind me, sharp and metallic. But I couldn't turn around, couldn't stop, couldn't move forward either.
I'm not sure if I heard the shots, or if they were only a string of dull bursts like distant fireworks. Before I could register anything, a spray of blood bloomed in front of my eyes. My body grew heavy and collapsed onto the dusky earth, dragging my consciousness down with it - leaking out like the blood from my wounds, blending into the golden-red horizon. My tears arrived too late. They came not with pain, but with a single, crushing question: Why?
Grief gave way to anger, anger to defiance, then to the image of my wife's face and the rough, sandpaper-thin fabric cradling our child.
Then came the dark. A crushing, suffocating darkness, like a wall pressed against my face, stretching forever, fusing into me.
I fused with the wall.
And yet, Me woke up.
The dream was so vivid.
And I knew then, maybe I should do something.

I'm just an ordinary person - a sci-fi enthusiast from an unnamed small town in China. No dazzling achievements, no impressive background.
All I have is a fragile sense of what is beautiful and just, and the will to write it down.

I'm not strong. I'm a sensitive and vulnerable person.
I tremble during arguments. I cry uncontrollably even when I know I'm not at fault. One harsh word can echo in my mind for days. And sometimes, it's not even the insult itself - it's my own imperfect response to it that keeps me up at night, replaying over and over: Did I say the wrong thing? Could I have answered better? Or… was I actually in the wrong after all?
I'm always scared, always doubting, always second-guessing myself -
And yet, always, just one more time, I find the strength to lift my head again.

From the very first day this mod was published, it has been hit with waves of reports, attacks, mockery, and insults - from Steam, from other platforms, from within China and from beyond.
I understand: that is their freedom.
And mine - is to look back with contempt and disdain.
Because I know I'm not alone - I know there are many who stand behind me.
The People do not fear.

Yes - as I've never tried to hide - this mod does carry a message.
But I've tried to shape it into an event chain in the spirit of Stellaris - immersive, thoughtful, and respectful of the vanilla experience.
Even stripped of its context, I hope it stands on its own as a well-made, lore-consistent mod that players can genuinely enjoy.
I'm not a native English speaker, but I know this language carries truth farther than mine can - because it's heard by more. That's why I've uploaded and revised this mod over and over - sometimes just to fix the tiniest flaws in phrasing.

If you're willing to read the story, to experience it - and if I'm lucky enough to strike a chord in you - that would be the greatest honor I could hope for.

Because in my country, one revolutionary once told me,
"All the distant lands and countless people - they are all connected to me."

The golden age of science fiction, of internationalism, of the idealist sun that once bathed the world - I want to bring them back.

I think I get what you're saying. What surprises me is that China actually has people who support Israel so strongly. After your nation endured so many invasions and massacres, you're able to sympathise with a bunch of fascist demons? How ridiculous!

@fdymod

@fdymod

@fdymod
