# Stat Growth Expanded

A character ambition overhaul mod for *Imperator: Rome* that refines stat development logic across all ambition events. This mod improves upon the original by introducing smarter, more dynamic, and balanced stat growth systems. The aim was to make character that are worthy of the player.

## What This Mod Does

This mod overhauls the following ambition scripts:

- `ambition_grow_up`
- `ambition_become_great_warrior_monthly`
- `ambition_become_despot_monthly`
- `ambition_become_bureaucrat_monthly`
- `ambition_become_rich_monthly`
- `ambition_become_demagogue_monthly`
- `ambition_become_politician_monthly`
- `ambition_become_holy_monthly`

### Key Features

- **Prioritized stat growth** based on how low the current value is.
- **Expanded growth ranges** from low values to above-cap potential.
- **Rare stat crossover growths** (e.g., minor growth in other stats).
- **No more stat loss punishments** for unrelated traits.
- **No new traits added — all changes are vanilla-compatible.**

### `ambition_grow_up`
- **Base game:** 3% chance for each stat to grow.
- **Modded:** 4% chance for each stat to grow.

### `ambition_become_great_warrior_monthly`
- **Base game:** Martial growth with random stat loss.
- **Modded:** No more stat loss. Bonus chance for other stats.

### `ambition_become_despot_monthly`
- **Base game:** Martial + finesse growth with corruption. Stat loss possible.
- **Modded:** No more stat loss. Bonus chance for other stats.

### `ambition_become_bureaucrat_monthly`
- **Base game:** Finesse growth, with a chance to lose other stats.
- **Modded:** No more stat loss. Bonus chance for other stats.

### `ambition_become_rich_monthly`
- **Base game:** Finesse growth with corruption, possible stat loss.
- **Modded:** No more stat loss. Bonus chance for other stats.

### `ambition_become_demagogue_monthly`
- **Base game:** Charisma growth with loyalty and possible stat loss.
- **Modded:** No more stat loss. Bonus chance for other stats.

### `ambition_become_politician_monthly`
