Welcome to my achievement and Golden Cog location guide for Mysc. A tiny Tale.

None of the achievements in this game are missable, as there is a level selection option. The game warns you before you're about to complete a level, but you can return to it later. There is also an option to reset the level entirely. Don't forget to deliver the materials to the recycling bot, as you don't take them with you to the next level.

I highly recommend cleaning up all the trash you find while exploring each level, as it is much easier to do it while exploring than having to go back to find a specific spot. If you're really stuck on the last few %, the recycling bot has an option to tell you where they are but that won't give you coins anymore.

In my experience this can only be done on chapter 8 with 151 coins. Don't deliver the recycling material until you 100% cleaned the area.

Patience is Key
Complete the first Gus Challenge
This is a jumping and gliding challenge. It can be found directly after the area blocked with the cardboard wall with robots on it.

Good Boy!
Pet the doggo
First, give the dog its toy, and then interact with it again to pet it.

A Bird's eye View!
Reach the highest point in Chapter 1
This is the thimble on top of your house.

Take this with you
Unlock the Safety Pin
The Safety Pin can be bought for 40 coins from the shopkeeper.

Best Friend First Steps
Repair the gate in Chapter 1
Find at least 8 of the 10 Golden Clogs.

1. Next to your house on a lower platform.
2. Between the pots under your house, use the jumping mushroom to reach it.
3. Floating in the air, reaching it by using the platforms and then jump and glide toward it.
4. Behind the shop in the corner.
5. Bring the ring that is on top of a bottle (reachable from your house) to the lady that is looking for her lucky charm.
6. Go through the garden hose next to the lady with the lucky charm and then crawl into this cage to get the cog.
7. In the shop for 25 coins.
8. Hit the switch behind the shop with the Safety Pin and give the snack to the runner.
9. In a can close to the shop. The Safety Pin is required to get into the tin.
10. Behind the dog in the can. Get his toy a little further and to the right in another can to get this cog. Don't forget to pet the dog afterwards!

Clean Sweep
Unlock the Brush
Just outside the cave, you'll find the brush and the cutest hat ever!

A sinking Feeling
Jump in the sink before it fills in Chapter 2
Jump in the sink before you turn all 10 spinners to unclog the tap.

Twisting toy Blocks
Complete the second Gus Challenge
Gus is hidden in a corner, near the guy with the puzzle.

Close Encounters of the Froggy Kind
Meet Atom and defeat his Windups
Around the end of the level, you'll meet Atom and his Windups. Defeat them to unlock this achievement and to be able to complete the level.

Unidentified Flying Omnidroid
Repair the gate in Chapter 2
Find at least 8 of the 10 Golden Clogs.

1. Under the flashlight at the beginning of this level. The parasol is in an area you reach through a pipe close to the two bros.
2. At the top, in the middle of the first room.
3. Buy the Weighted Bar from the shop for 90 coins and give it to Hercules.
4. In a mason jar close to Hercules.
5. Buy the puzzle piece from the shop and give it to the guy in the pipe.
6. Find all 10 spinners to unclog the tap.
7. Floating behind the pipe with the puzzle guy. Go on top of the pipe to reach the golden cog.
8. At the top of the tree is a bird missing her wings. You find those in a can behind the pipe with the puzzle guy.
9. Passing letters between two bros.
10. At the top of the tree, on the opposite side of the bird house.

Come Back Here!
Try to get past the first guard in chapter 3
You will not be successful, but instead of instantly buying the Visitors Pass, try to sneak past the first guard.

No Respect for Authority
Try to get past the second guard in Chapter 3
Try to get to the cat tower in the middle past the second guard to unlock this achievement.

Stop Horsing Around
Jump up to the top of the horses head in Chapter 3
To be able to get to the head of the horse seesaw, you need the orb to the west of the mouse area and bring that to the spot in the middle of the mouse area to unlock some floating platforms. Use that to get to the tale of the seesaw and then run and double jump to get on the handles, and from there on the eye and on the top of the head. See this video on how to do that last part:

Gus his location is close to the gate.

A Blue-eyed Fairwell
Say goodbye to the Queen
You have to help 3 rebellious citizen dress up and confront the queen.
- One of the citizens wants dark ink, which can be found in the area full of mouse enemies. One of the mice is carrying it.
- One of the citizens wants shiny orbs, which are on the tail of the horse seesaw.
- One wants a flower,r which can be found by using the catapult and get on the top of the blue structure.
After the ceremony cutscene, get back to the queen to say goodbye.

A Cat with Powers?!?!
Repair the gate in Chapter 3

1. Left of the area with the blue and red bucket, you find a pirate mole, talk with him, and clean the area with the buckets to win a Golden Cog.
2. With the floating blocks, you can unlock through the mouse area, and you can reach the Golden Cog on top of a tower.
3. There is an energy orb in the corner of the area with the buckets. Bring that to the spot with the three switches and then use those to reach the top platform through the towers.
4. Buy the disco ball (aka Gleaming Droplet) from the vendor for 80 coins, and give it to the citizens who want the attention of the queen by dancing.
5. In a building close to the blue construct are three buttons, press those to get the Golden Cog, and in the case the order matters: middle, left, right.
6. Next to the last one is an area with a sand cover; there is a small gap where you can crawl into it.
7. If you walk from the gate toward the start of the level but not through the city area, you find a spade lying on the ground. Behind that is a cat statue with a Golden Cog hidden inside.
8. Use the slingshot to get to the blue structure, and then, between the 2 tops, you find a Golden Cog.
9. There is a Golden Cog on a sandpile close to the gate, but to get there, you need to use the slingshot to get to the blue construct and then move your way toward this pile of sand.
10. In the blue building that requires an energy orb, there is a robot without energy. Buy the Power Pod from the vendor for this robo,t and he will reward you with a Golden Cog.

Well that's just Grate…
Hop onto the grater in Chapter 4
Jump on top of the grater, this is the area "house" the fortune teller is in.

Complete the fourth Gus Challenge
The entrance is very close to the snowman.

A Truly Heartless Robot…
Tell Burr you don't like his happy dance
Burr is the person working on the light strings. After you help him fix the strings, wait a second before talking to him again after fixing the lights. First, save your game so you can easily reload and choose the other option for the other achievement. If you didn't do that, you will need to reset the level to select the other dialog option.

It's a Sign!
Repair the gate in Chapter 4

1. On the hill behind the recycle bot, there is a hidden area with a Golden Cog.
2. Winning the race within 45 seconds.
3. Complete the snowman with items that are on the red plates close by.
4. Help the cook with finding three ingredients: One is in a tin with metal ice in front of it (which you can attack to break), another is hanging on a plant close to Gus, and the last one is on top of the fridge.
5. Buy the Luminance Pod (50 coins) from the vendor and give it to a guy that on a platform at the side of the fridge. To reach him you have to go to the top of the fridge.
6. When entering the fridge from the entrance at the bottom, there is a milk carton with a Golden Cog hidden inside.
7. Let the fortune teller tell you your fortune for 70 coins.
8. Buy the Wiggly Sensors from the vendor for the scary two-headed robot.
9. On the top of the fridge and then on the side, above the racing guy.
10. In the air reachable from the top of the fridge. This took me many tries, but you have to run on the door handle, then double jump, and then, a second or so later, dive.

We're Miscellaneous
Help the band perform their song
In order to perform, you need the help the band members by finding the sheet music, as well as finding a battery. The battery can be found on a ledge you can reach with the white flying flowers. One of the 3 music sheets must be bought from the shop for 50 coins.

The Barren Nook
Find the oddly empty corner in Chapter 5
After you turn all 5 valves, there is this new area. the Barren Nook is in that area on the left side when you enter that area.

What a Perfect fit
Crawl under the performers platform in Chapter 5
From the side of the stage, you can crawl under the platform.

Blossoming Bass
Complete the fifth Gus Challenge
The entrance is in a corner close to the snares.

Team-Up Time
Repair the gate in Chapter 5
Find at least 8 of the 10 Golden Clogs.

1. On the wall close to the snare.
2. On a sunflower, which you can reach by jumping on the entrance of the super secret hideout.
3. Planting all 5 round seeds (not the one in the can with already leaves that is oval).
4. Plant the oval seed, which already has leaves, near the wind blowing machine. Use the new plant to get to the Golden Cog.
5. Cutting all the weeds for the sleepy guy on the shelves that can be reached through the white flying flowers.
6. After turning all 5 valves, you can get to a new area with an almost empty flower bed, run over it to make it bloom.
7. After turning all 5 valves, you can get to the area with the Alternator for Atom.
8. Plant the pink seed to get platforms toward the area above where you find Atom's alternator.
9. Buy the Liquid Satchel from the shop and give it to the guy next to the flowers that are hanging.
10. Play the secret code on the wind chimes, the tambourine character tells you the code after helping the band.

GeT oFf My ShIp!!!
Hop onto Atoms UFO in Chapter 6
It is located on the side of the crater.

Tick Tock Terror
Complete the sixth Gus Challenge
The entrance to Gussette's challenge is close to the UFO.

Out of Order
Buy everything from the Can-Do Dispenser
Buy all 6 screws from the vending machine.

Cog Creator
Repair the Cog Machine in Chapter 6
Finish the level to unlock this achievement.

2. In a pipe just behind the previous one, you need to make a detour to enter the pipe
3. On a rack just behind the previous 2 Golden Cogs
4. Take the stairs from the last one and it is in front of you, to reach it you need to use the pipe again but this time go through the end of it so you're on the platform with the light bulb
5. Behind the robot with the moth
6. Distract the moth-robot with the light bulb
7. On top of a knife, close to Gus his challenge entrance
8. Close to the Can't do spot and where you find the yellow "Lego" piece
9. Build the "Lego" bridge to get to the top of the mountain
10. Buy the Tuner Dial from the shop for 20 coins, after giving him his employer's had which can be found in a milk carton close to the entrance of the pipe to get to the radio robot.Then bring the Tuner Dial to the radio robot.

This is behind the TV, reachable from the ground.

Hop into the train with it active in Chapter 8
Fix the train rails so the train starts moving around.

Complete the final Gus Challenge
The entrance is in the opposite corner of the stairs. And yes, you need that key, so take it all the way from the moment you find it in this challenge.
