First Blood
Defeat a boss for the first time

This one should be pretty straight forward, but may take you a couple of tries. Just survive through to the third night and defeat the first boss that spawns.

Royal Roulette
Use the Fairy Queen

The Fairy Queen can be used to swap your entire inventory for random items of a higher grade. They can sometimes be located by using a Crystal Ball.

Death Approaches
Take fatigue damage

Fatigue damage seems to kick in at turn 40, with the intention of preventing never-ending battles.
I got this one by using the Royal Scepter, which ties your damage to the gold amount of gold that you currently have, and generating armor every turn, then having my gold stolen by a crow so I was doing very little damage.

Sweet Treat
Obtain honey

Honey can be obtained from a bee hive, which can sometimes be located by using a Crystal Ball.

The stories were true
Obtain a mythic item

Mythic items are rewards obtained from defeating special bosses hidden around the map, such as the Silkweaver Queen, Lifeblood Count and Ironshell Beetle. You can use the crystal ball to find some of them.

Golem Fix
Use the large golem

The Large Golem is a rare character that can be found on the map, and will upgrade an item without needing a second copy of it. They can be found on the Golem Home island of the Swampland map, and appear more rarely in Kingmaker, where Scrying pools can sometimes point you to their location.

Bewitched
Get a cursed item from the crone

The Crone is a rare character that can be found hidden on the map, and will sell you very powerful items. Without telling you about their... downsides.

Like the Large Golem, I located the Crone by using a Scrying Pool on the Kingmaker map.

Where am I?
Travel to Misplaced Mire

On the Swampland map, just keep jumping in the sinkholes that can be found randomly among the islands and eventually you will end up on Misplaced Mire!

Woodland

Woodland Cleared
Defeat the Woodland Abomination

The Woodland Abomination is the second form of the third boss in the Woodland. It has 100 health, and will take quite the effort to defeat.

You will need to be able to recover from some powerful hits, so make sure you have some way to achieve this. With builds being luck-of-the-draw, it's hard to give you a specific answer to beating the Woodland Abomination. Really, just pick a lane and lean hard into it. (ie. If you're gonna go with thorns, go with anything and everything that you can find that amplifies your thorns damage!) And, with a little luck in which items you come across, you'll get it done!

Woodland Champion
Defeat every woodland boss

Woodland bosses:
Black Knight
Blackbriar King
Bloodmoon Werewolf
Brittlebark Beast
Frostbite Druid
Goldwing Monarch
Ironstone Golem
Leshen
Mountain Troll
Razorclaw Grizzly
Razortisk Hog
Redwood Treant
Swiftstrike Stag
Woodland Abomination

Note that there are additional bosses that you may run into (Ironshell Beetle, Lifeblood Count, Silkweaver Queen), hidden around the map. However, these are not currently required for the achievement.

Swampland

Swampland Cleared
Defeat the Swampland Hydra

The Swampland Hydra has 4 possible stages to defeat. Luckily, we only have to fight 3 of them, and we get to choose which one to skip based on which would be most difficult for our current build. Unfortunately, we do not recover to full health in between stages like we did with the Woodland Abomination! Plan for this accordingly!

What ended up working for me was a Riptide build (Whirlpool Edge, Silverscale Gauntlet, etc.) with a Purelake Tome for increasing attack/healing and the Stormtide Anchor, which stuns the enemy when Riptide occurs.

Kingmaker

Kingmade
Get a crown in kingmaker

Wow, this one was rough to crack the first time! Those first several fights aren't too difficult, but man, that last one is a doozy! You've really need to have your gear in order and working in sync to beat these guys, and with RNG being a factor in which items you have access to, it's difficult to give you an easy solution.

Take a look at my winning builds, though, maybe they will point you in the right direction. (While I try to come up with a more repeatable formula for winning...)

Here, I was leaning heavily into thorns and health regeneration in the early game, and then chaining it all together with talismans and armor generation in the late game. And still, I only barely won!

In this one, I got the Woodcutter's Axe from my very first chest, and with it gaining attack based on how many empty slots you have in your inventory, you've got to go all-in from the jump if you are going to use it. (Hopefully they add some way to dispose of items at some point, so that you aren't filling your inventory with garbage when you find the axe a bit later in the game!) I tried to lean into the burst damage a bit, with the non-weapon damage talisman and Powder Keg amplifying the Cherry Cocktail, but I was really trying to keep as many inventory slots open as I could. At the last minute, I panicked and got the Royal Shield (which turns 1 coin into 3 shields every turn), but I didn't even need it, as I wiped the floor with my final opponent this time around.

That last fight often comes down to sheer endurance, though, where food items can be key to survival. Energy Drain has also been working really well for me in that last fight, too, but that will depend on whether or not your opponent is relying on speed.

Fit for a King
Obtain a skin in kingmaker

Skins are acquired on the Kingmaker menu screen. For each Kingmaker in which you come out at as the overall winner, you gain one crown. The minimum number of crowns to unlock a skin is five.

Once you are victorious, you will be offered an opportunity to challenge a champion player. There are no downsides to this, but if you are able to defeat them, your character will become a champion and passively earn more crowns for you, for as long as they remain undefeated by another player.

Thank you! It is indeed so. I have already discovered it.

@Пётр Пустота According to the wiki, Weaver Armor is unlocked by defeating the Swampland Hydra after cutting off the Riptide head at the start of the fight, but I have yet to do so myself.

Can you tell me where to find Weaver Armor? Maybe some kind of quest needs to be completed?

@sacha-gt Crystal Ball/Scrying Pool can sometimes help, but it's been mostly luck for me. I had been trying to make Rock Candy all week, but I just could not get both the Honey and the Rock Steak with enough time left to get to a Cauldron. I finally managed to do it today, but it was just luck that I happened to stumble on a Beehive pretty early in Kingmaker.

The Cookbook hasn't given m anything particularly good so far. I usually end up just throwing whatever it gives me in a fairy to try to unlock a Swampland Cauldron recipe that I don't have.

any tip on grabbing honey faster? is the evolving tome into cooked food worth it?
Eric Esoteric  [author] 25 Jul @ 7:12pm
@1Raijin1 I did it just now by stacking thorns while using the Blackbriar Blade. Check my recent screenshots on my profile if you want to see the exact build I used.

There is an achievement for dealing 30 damage with one hit. Any thoughts on how to do it?

@Tardo Excellent, I will update those notes! Thank you very much! :hic_frog:
