1 the mechanical parts
feel free to recreate real stuff
or make it up as long as the wheel moves up and down and movement is transferred to the springs
springs
you need a minimum of 2 one of them should be not very stiff so the car sits lower then the max height of its suspension this help with indents if you can have a gradient of stiffnes
this makes it reacte to small bumps with out getting bottemd out on big bumps
camber
somthing like wishbone is great for offroad and on road but not rock crawling or dunes
4 bar has a axle that rotates this is great for rock crawling and jumps but it will have a lot harder time on impacts so haveing fixed camber vs loose axle changes a lot
blocks?
use pipes for the arms thay allow for arms to touch with out connecting in build mode
for joints use 0 stiffnes steering hinges
cant see how a suspension works
thares nothing wrong with watching a video or downloading a car and seeing how thay did it
testing
the suspension testing map is great after that do real offroading like the peak on treasure island
