Introduction
My goal is to make this guide as simple to follow and as accurate as possible, it's good to remember that we all make mistakes, even those who push to be perfect.

If this guide helped you it would be heavily appreciated if you liked, favorited or commented on it!

If you're feeling charitable feel free to give me some steam points, check below to learn how!
Though I would ultimately prefer if you checked out the 'Support Me?' section :3

Optimized Settings
These settings are the best "bang for your buck" settings. They will provide the best performance while also not making the game look utterly horrible. These have been tested pretty extensively by me, however given this is a beta it will depend heavily on your system. It's entirely possible these settings won't do much for you, and it's entirely possible it could gain you several dozen or even 50+ fps. Results vary highly.

There is also several bugs causing FPS drops right now.

DirectX function error
This error has been seemingly plaguing the community for this test. Given it seems to go as far back as Battlefield 4 I highly doubt it will be fixed entirely, likely minimized.

I have tried every fix I can find and still get the crash on the main menus occasionally, but have stopped it from happening in-game. Please try every fix before commenting.

The fix that worked for me:
1. Head into the game settings, if possible.
2. Navigate to the Graphics tab (modify button).
3. Disable Screen Space AO & GI.

If you are using DDR5 6000 mhz RAM:
For some reason this has worked for some people, and my system which has been experiencing the issue is using DDR5 6000 mhz RAM. If you are not comfortable altering your BIOS, don't.

1. Go to your PC BIOS. I'm not going to give a step-by-step guide for that as it will vary heavily based on your computer. I recommend going on YouTube and searching up how if you need to.
2. Navigate to the DRAM Settings, or something with similar wording.
3. Disable 'EXPO' / 'XMP'
4. Change DRAM Frequency and alter your RAM speed from 6000 to 4800.

Other Fixes:
Going off of other fixes that were provided to me from others. These may or may not work, they didn't work for me but they work for some people, seemingly.

1. Updating drivers to the latest version. Seems like a no-brainer but it didn't work for many.
ㅤ1a. You can do this by opening 'AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition' or 'GeForce Experience' and
updating your drivers there. If you need a step-by-step guide on that go to YouTube.
ㅤ1b. Restart your computer when you are finished.
2. Lower your graphics to 'LOW' across the board and drop your GPU clock by 50mhz. You can do this through the aforementioned programs, I'd recommend checking out YouTube for that.
3. Set specifically 'Mesh Quality' to low in the in-game settings.
4. Add -dx11 to the launch options.
ㅤ4a. Navigate to your Steam Library and right click the Battlefield Beta.
ㅤ4b. Select 'Properties' and under launch options add in -dx11

Possible NVIDIDA specific fix:
Supposedly this fix can work for anyone who is suffering from this issue on a NVIDIA card.

1. Open the Nvidia Control Panel
2. Under 'Help' enable 'Debug Mode'

Infinite loading screen fixes
I have only just dug into this issue, so I do not have an extensive list of fixes for this yet.

That being said, the following has worked for me personally.

1. Navigate to your Steam Library and right click the Battlefield 6 Open Beta.
2. Select 'Properties' and click 'installed Files' then 'Verify Integrity of beta files'.
3. Let Steam do it's thing and this may work.

Hey kitclaw, any specific error codes?
ikitclaw806 9 Aug @ 3:55pm
it seems like whenever i drive a tank after a couple minutes my game exits and i am at my desktop screen, any ideas on what could be doing this.
