Ubisoft doesn’t give the slightest sheet about the problem, and it’s only getting worse day by day. Reports? useless, sending Ubisoft an email with solid cheating proof? even more useless, They’ll politely reply with something along the lines of “Thanks for your concern, but we can’t do anything”

Like, literally I had an encounter with a cheater months ago, recorded everything. It was pure aimbot with walls in a ranked match (plat lobby). 4 months later? The guy didn’t get banned, he actually hit Champion. Ubisoft responded with that email and just… did nothing.

Honestly, it’s the best and only method that will actually solve the problem. First, you save your mental health and your time. Second, you help decrease the player count which, in theory, could hit Ubisoft so hard they’d finally take the problem seriously. (Probably in some alternate universe, but hey, no harm in trying.)


And it’s not just me, every siege youtuber and pretty much the whole community has been complaining about this. There are videos everywhere showing cheaters, full-on proof, and Ubisoft still doesn’t move a finger. People have been calling them out for years even before Siege X, and nothing changes.


I know this choice is tough, especially for players who love the game or are just addicted with nothing else to play. But you’ve got to be a cultured consumer who cares about the quality of the products you consume. Siege X, in its current state is bad for the player, dropping it until it gets fixed (hopefully) is the right move. It was hard for me too, Siege was one of my favorite online shooters. But I quit. If I can, you can too. I believe in you.

Congrats if you made it to this step, quitting Siege X when you’re either hard addicted or deeply in love with it is like dumping a goth toxic girlfriend who’s hot but definitely ruining your life. For multiplayer, I made sure to avoid the sweaty, toxic competitive stuff and stick to chill, casual, and co-op experiences that are actually good for your sanity. Whether you’re into singleplayer storytelling or relaxed multiplayer fun, these are way better than wasting time on a game Ubisoft abandoned.

And that’s just scratching the surface. There are so many masterpieces out there I haven’t even mentioned or tried yet. I know breaking your Siege routine is hard, but stepping out of that comfort zone and exploring these games will open up way better experiences. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

At the end of the day, you can’t fight cheaters in Siege X, you can only fight the urge to keep playing it. Ubisoft clearly isn’t going to fix it anytime soon, so the best decision you can make is uninstalling and moving on. There’s a whole world of better games out there waiting for you, ones that won’t waste your time or sanity. Trust me, your mental health will thank you… and Ubisoft will never notice you’re gone.

Also, this is probably going to be my last guide for the game. It’s been an honor being part of this community, and I’ve never regretted the time I spent back when the game was actually good.
