By now i think mostly everyone read the blog about the new stuff that Red5 Cloudchaser shared.

Lets highlight some key words from the blog. "The item upgrade system"


On the image above with paragraphs. Notice that i've highlighted the Key words on the upcoming changes.
1) Campaign Missions, Operations, and Raids-
Its stated that loots from these instances can and will be able to upgrade with their specific tokens
obtaining from the mission as well. This means that Campaign Mission and Operation missions will most likely uses Campaign Tokens as upgrade currencies for items that are rewards from the mission itself. We know that the warfront used to reward you Campaign Tokens, but that idea was replaced into Campaign Missions instead. You can no longer obtain CT's from WF. So WF is out of the list. Now we have Boss Raids. Boss Raids meaning Kanaloa and Baneclaw. So now we're cleared right? If not cleared yet, this means that even items from Kanaloa and Baneclaw are upgradeable.
(List of upgradeable items are at the bottom of this Guide)

2) 'Ingredients' (which will generally be a currency, like Campaign Tokens or Titan Tokens)-
From this highlighted sentence, it means the only currency that'll we'll be able to uses are Campaign Tokens or Titan Tokens. For example, If i got a Blue Necro Assault Rifle obtain from Hardcore BWA then i can use a Campaign Token to upgrade its powers and can even make it Epic(Purple) later. You can also make it Purple and then come back to unlock its powers later which ever way you feel is easier, but with another campaign token. We now learn that there is an unlock power and can upgrade to Purple quality gears/items. Lets move on.

3) Blackwater will reliably be dropping Blue Weapons/Items/Gears-
This one is pretty straight forward. At first i thought it was a bad and wrong change until the blog posted up to make everything sense. BWA was changed and so you can no longer obtain purple gears/items(except crafting components as purple). Everything else like stupid uncommon(green) Cooled Module and Weapons can and still drop if bad luck for you like a Grenade Launcher. Only Necro related items such as Necro Primaries(All Battleframes), Secondaries, and Necro Modules will only be Blue Quality items. :red5: Cloudchaser didn't mentioned anything about modules being able to upgrade and unlocking its potential powers. I could be wrong, but then again..How can you even upgrade a Module? Possibly a Core....But still doubt it. Mainly weapons and abilities will be able to upgrade and unlocking its power.

4)You can take Blue Weapon from HC BWA and upgrade it + unlock power-
This was already explained in Paragraph 2 from above.

We just had a patch awhile ago that gave us new items to look forward and are basically preparing us for the new new updates that are coming to FireFall in 2015. Below will be the list of examples of what you will be looking forward to upgrade and unlocking its power and stuff. Lets take a look at the list shall we?

From this image you can see that Martha is a gun obtain within the game.
Its a weapon reward from campaign missions. Most likely "Crash Down" would be your best bet.

Note: Some campaign mission secondary guns may varies in all mission, Because from experiences i've got Sassaflash not just from Power Grab, but from Proving Grounds too. I still have yet to see all prototype secondaries in the game, But i hope this list makes sense and so you won't be confusing.
