Why Teamwork and Roles are Important
Teamwork makes the dreamwork.

You might think the biggest dangers that will get you killed are the bears and snakes. In reality, it's miscommunication. For instance, if all of your teammates are repairing the RV and no one is distracting the bear, the bear is bound to undo all of the hard work you put into fixing your precious RV. This is where the teamwork comes in. Focus on a few problems at a time. This means the crew needs separate roles. This ensures efficiency and focus. If there are only two of you, don't worry. This guide explains how to take care of your RV with different numbers of players, ranging from 2 to 4.

1st Role: The Captain (Driver)
The driver focuses on control and movement.

The core anchor of the whole operation is the captain, or driver. This person is mostly in charge, focusing on driving the whole RV. The person given driver will have to listen to the navigator for instructions on where to drive. They decide when the RV drives, and when it stops. They also use the winch if the RV is stuck. Nobody else gets in the driver's seat unless the driver is dead. The driver doesn't get out of the RV much, usually during breaks out of the RV. The driver's main duties are:

1. Focus only on the road. Do not get distracted by others, unless there is danger.

2.Trust the navigator completely. This bond will ensure that the RV makes it to the destination safely.

3. Watch out for immediate dangers in the front of the RV, such as rocks or trees. If the navigator doesn't notice, swerve around the obstacle or stop completely.

4. Use the winch if the RV is stuck. Remember to stay inside the RV, because usually everybody else will be out of the RV making sure it is getting free safely. Let others secure the winch cord. You will only be using the remote.

These are the most important duties of the driver. Ensure that no steps are skipped, so your crew can safely finish the road trip together.

2nd Role: The Navigator (Planner)
The navigator tells the driver where to go, watching the map.

The navigator is the brains of the operation, watching the map to make sure of where external obstacles and hazards are. They instruct the driver on which roads or bridges to take, ensuring they get to the destination. They direct the team. Their main duties are:

1. Tell the driver where to go. This includes what roads, paths, or bridges to drive on to get to the destination. Don't forget to use the map.

2. Scout out checkpoint areas. You are the first one to get out, even before the ranger, to make sure the area is suitable for a big RV. Also make sure to scout out ahead the checkpoint, in case it's a dead end.

3. Call out big hazards. If there is a river coming up or a bridge, make sure to immediately tell the driver so they can either turn the RV or stop it.

These are the important duties of the navigator. Following these instructions will allow you to speed through obstacles and forks in the road without having to turn back after running into a dead end. Don't forget you are the only one who can boss the driver around!

3rd Role: The Keeper (Mechanic and Organizer)
The keeper organizes items and takes care of repairs.

The keeper is the supply manager and mechanic. They manage both the health of the RV and the team. They repair the engine, tires, and overall vehicle. The mechanic is usually on top of the RV with the scoutmaster. Whenever the RV stops, the keeper hops out to repair all parts of the RV after a bumpy part of the road. They also put items collected by the ranger into their organized cabinets/shelves. Their main duties as a keeper are:

1. Organizing items. This includes grills, motor oil, tires, wood planks, food, and health items. Don't forget there is a roof for items to be stored on.

2. Repairing the RV. The RV won't be able to move if all tires are deflated, or the engine needs motor oil. This is an important part of your job. Without an RV, there's no road trip.

3. Prepping meals. This means cooking burgers or other food items on a disposable grill for hurt teammates.

4. Monitoring teammate's health. If a teammate is hurt, pull out the grill and feed them some food.

These are the most important duties of the keeper. Don't forget your duties!
4th Role: The Ranger (Scoutmaster and Defender)
The ranger forages for items and is the external security of the RV.

The ranger is the security guard for the team and RV. They make sure there are no possible moving dangers, such as bears, around the RV at all times. They will mainly be scouting on the roof of the RV, always on lookout for anything dangerous. They will also find and collect useful items found around the RV. Their main duties are:

1. Collecting items. You will need to scout out items when the RV stops, and give them to the keeper to organize them.

2. Protecting the RV. If a bear or other danger is damaging the RV, it's your job to scare it off, distract it, or make it stop.

3. Scout out checkpoint areas. After the navigator looks around the checkpoint, make sure to scout out any possible dangers and warn the others about it.

These are the main duties of the ranger. Following these steps will ensure that the RV stays in tip-top shape!

Things to Yell Out
Through all the chaos, it might be hard to decipher what your friends are saying. With longer sentences, it makes it harder to understand and catch every word. This is why this section was made. Only saying what's important will make it easier for all your teammates to understand one another. For example, if there is a bear behind the RV, somebody would yell out, "BEAR, BEHIND", or something similar to that. Feel free to make your own two or three word phrases to make the game easier!

Playing with Two People
You might think while reading this guide, "Oh, I wish I could do all this, but I only have one friend that I can play with!". Don't worry, because you can always start a discussion asking for people to play with you. If you're not comfortable with that, I would recommend that you and your friend take the two most important roles in this guide: the driver and the keeper. The RV will be getting hit left and right by things, so it's always good to have a mechanic, as well as a driver to dodge the obstacles. If one of you would rather be the navigator or the ranger, that's okay, but I suggest trying the keeper for a successful run.

Thank you!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this guide! I only spent a day or two on it, so please give suggestions in the comments on how to improve this guide. Although this guide doesn't tell you how to speedrun the game, or get infinite items, or anything like that, it does tell you how to form a better friendship with friends, which is most important in my opinion. Having fun with friends but getting nowhere is getting somewhere, just in your friend's hearts. The most important part of all games is to have fun, and this guide just taught you exactly how to do that. Please consider favoriting it or giving it a thumbs up! Thank you so much!
