I got it in the black gate riot with the shock gloves

if you miss a strike it breaks the chain as well as getting hit, leaving it too long and using gadgets

What interrupts a combo chain? I started playing and my chain keeps rising as I hit and counter everything but then suddenly it stops without me getting hit. Maybe too much time passed between the hits but sometimes it stops mid fight when I counter :/

Saw that you just evade between every hit maybe that is the trick but it would be annoying in every battle.
