Kings of East - Eastern Expansion

Description
And the Kings of East said: "Those Romans think they own the world... those hellenes think they're so cultural. Sparta, Athens... Rome... They seem to forget the gods that was before them... But no matter... now will they remember..." - Just joking not a real king said that.... but that won't stop you from saying it...

I SAY IT AGAIN BECAUSE PEOPLE DON'T SEEM TO READ THE TEXT

IS A MOD THAT ALLOWS YOU TO PLAY AS ALL FACTIONS IN GRAND CAMPAIGN AND CUSTOM BATTLE!!!!

Kings of East - Eastern Expansion
A balanced unit expansion that add spice to many eastern factions. 40+ units to around 21 factions

FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR INFORMATION
This is not a historical mod, but semi-realistic! It is just a game and I don't want to go through the efforts to research a ton of things that will in the end make a nation overnaturally OP. You will notice factions that are HELLENISTIC are included in this EASTERN MOD but that is because they are influenced by the east. Seleucid have Persian Hoplites and Pontus have Eastern Spearmen. You can almost realise that if Seleucid that owns a bunch of eastern satrapies but don't have Syrian Heavy Infantry like the rest do that can become strange. So this eastern expansion also influence hellenes close to east. And also many of these units are spread out into all these factions, and many of these you might not notice because some of them are actually very well camouflaged and fit into the game.
ALSO This mod does not make new FACTIONS PLAYABLE!!! You will need Playable Factions with Custom Battle in order to play as other factions.

This mod adds 40+ new units for 21 different factions in the east, (not arabia). I have made my best to make these units as balanced as possible and make sure that they aren't too overpowered or uselesss but they shouldn't make the vanilla rome units useless either.

These units are semi-realistic. That means that they aren't necessarily historical accurate, but they are plausible and acceptable on a realistic scale to imagine that it would be likely to have these units. But the main goal with this mod is to expand the eastern love and give them the units they somewhat deserve. Like balancing the Bithynian Infantry to actually make them useful (they were the same as hillmen which was idiotic), giving indian elephants to all eastern satrapies of seleucid, adding Battle Assassins to Media Atropatene (they were known for their spy network), adding Syrian Heavy Archers to the eastern satrapies.

The A.I. of Rome 2 will recognize all these new units and use them, just as in custom battle as they will during the campaign. The units will vary from Grand Campaign to Imperator Augustus, for example. In Grand Campaign you will meet Thracian Guard that are hired bodyguards from eastern factions. In Imperator Augustus Thracia is owned by the Romans which cause no more Thracian Guards to be seen, but you will instead see Blue Cloaks from Armenia, Parthian Pikemen, Judaean Guard and Palmyran Swordsmen.

The main idea of this mod is to add alot of more spice to the eastern factions and give them unique troops.

I reccomend that you play this mod with Custom Factions so you can play as other fun factions that has unique set of troops!

Since there wasn't space in this description to showcase the troops, their recruitment and (i will later add tons of text about how they are balanced but right now... i am absolutely way too tired,) description didn't fit in here, I decided to show all units in the discussion sections, so if you didn't take time to read this...

This mod also adds my other mods, Parthia Bodyguard, Reskins for Parthian Swordsmen and Hillmen, aswell as Parthia Horsemen Expansion.

ENJOY!!!

I will add more pictures and videos of this mod, but since the mod is completed I decide to put it up here anyways. I hope you can give it a shot and not just go for the pictures right? You want balanced units right? Eastern love right? I hope so at least.

Other Languages than English -
It has come to my knowledge that Unit Names and their Description won't show up for Rome 2 versions on other languages than english. If I find out how to add the name to all different versions I will do that, but just so you know the names won't show up if you got a different language in Rome 2 than English.

But don't be shy and give me critics, say if something is way to overpowered, or way to cheap or something is just glitchy.

Scythed Chariots were quite bugged for eastern so i made an entirely new kind of chariot, Eastern Chariot with a custom chariot officer for Media Atropatene in Heavy Stables 3 and 4!

!!!UPDATES!!!

Latest update gives Numidians more units (4 more units).
Gaetuli
Masaesyli

Grand campaign only, will update later to Imperator Augustus. new units are
Numidian Swordsmen (infantry barrack 2)
Berber Warriors (infantry barrack 2)
Berber Nomads (light cavalry stables 2)
Berber Marauders (technology Weapon Proficiency, replace Berber Nomads)

!!!UPDATES!!!

UPCOMING UPDATES:
Will do through the painful work to one day add garrisons with these units (lol, I hope it's not too bothersome that they aren't garrison yet)
I will try my best to make sure that Cappadocia and Bithynia aren't Hellenistic in diplomacy, since it causes internal conflict when they try to build temples because its Eastern Culture. I am currently onto something about how I can make sure they're Eastern.
Silver Slaves (High morale, high cost, low upkeep, a bit better than Persian Hoplites / Sparabra) - Slave Trader 2
Hindu Manhunters (Guerilla Archers)
Hindu Tribal Nobles (Swordsmen)
Hindu Braves (Horsemen)

Thinking on tweaking Median Levies, Median Infantry and their required technology.
Thinking on making Eastern Swords recruitable through Military Infantry 2 instead of 3 and their required technology.
Thinking on making Battle Assassins recruitable through Military Infantry 2/3 instead of Siege Workshop 2.

Personal Thanks:
Batemen (for helping me testing in several multiplayer battles if units are properly balanced)

If you are still around, i wanted to know where are the Heavy Syrian Archers in your mod data pack. I cannot find them in ET_land_units, or did you use the mercenaries some how? I am new to modding Rome II

Fantastic units, I really like them, I'm doing a naval mod with new soldiers embarked, I would also embark these. I will give all credit for your work.

Yes, I am aware you are joking (the XD is a strong indicator, lol)

i wanted to reply in case someone might wonder why some greek states are in this mod. It might be obsolete but i believe its good if i say my reasoning behind them somewhere.

in other words, i only wanted to say it somewhere. Have it well now, yes friend? :P
