Introduction
Ok, Im going to be fast here. Mvm is boring. Unless you are playing wih some close friends, it can put you in a dangerous mental state. You may ask yourself, were can I discharge my anger? The answer is, go meele sniping. Meele sniper is famous for killing Giants in seconds, destroing tanks so fast that only pyro does the job better than him and just outright being awesome. If you want, in the future, you could join me and go meele sniping with me, but first, you have to go through some tough training, that no soldier in the world and man in the America ever passed through and lived. Reading...
Weapons
First and most important part is weapons. I personally use all stock but there are many combinations you can do. So lets go see some of them.

Primarys

There are only two primarys worth using that arent the stock. BUT REMEMBER, the meele sniper can only use the primary when in a emergency. And even there, it will be recognized with shame by the Meele sniper community. So..

Huntsman

In the beggining, God created the sniper rifle. But the Devil saw potencial in them and he upgraded them, creating the Huntsman. That is also how the mini sentry was created. But okay, strategy. When you start meeling some robots, the money they give you may not be enough to a) Resist the damage done by the robots or b) Do some good damage. So, the huntsman may be good there to weaken a bit the robots so you wont die instantly. But, if you are a good meele sniper, that wont be needed.

Sydney Sleeper

This has the same use has the huntsman but at least you will support your teammates, not that they will need any support when there is a meele sniper on youre team.

All the other primarys suck...

Weapons (2)
Now to the secondarys. And, suprise suprise, will not be talking about ANY of the SMGs. You can only use the meele. Having a SMG as secondary will only be taunting you to use it. So lets get started, shall we?

Jarate

The best of all secondarys, with it you can do EVEN MORE damage to everything that isnt a tank (Grey mann implented a piss shield on the tank because he was afraid of the meele snipers. That didnt stop us :P). It even helps your team, even tought if you are sniper you should try to work alone. You dont want a jealous gibus sniper trying to do the same as you. He will just die many times. If you see one of these rare gibus species, show them this guide. Help them, show them the way of knife.

Razorback

Considered one of the worst weapons in TF2 in general, its acutally more usefull than you think in MvM. Mainly in rounds full of Spies, cause remember knifes can cut trough crocodile skins, 300 pounds of flesh (if attacking heavy), 300 pounds of metal (if attacking metal heavy), but never, NEVER, trough a primitive shield, probably built in Africa. Plus, just like jarate, it doesnt have nothing bad against it.

All the other secondarys give vulnerability to some kind of damage, someting the meele sniper NEVER needs.

Weapons (3)
Heres a thing. Your most important weapon is STOCK!!!!! Nothing else. But still, lets see why:

Tribalman Shiv: Less damage means less kills, wich means the robots kill you. Plus, the bleeding does almost nothing. Easy to explain.

Bushwaka: There is a embarazzing thing about the meele sniper. He depends on much about luck. Principally in the beggining. If you dont get those crits, you are gonna die, and fast, and the best way to get crits is not having a weapon that gives you no crits. Plus, you are gonna be close to them. Fire vulnerability aint good for ya. And yes, piss crits are good to kill them, but dont compesate the lack of random crits.

Shanshansha: Only in the beggining you are gonna be at low heath. And if you are at low health, you probably shouldnt be there.
Upgrade Strategy and Strategy overall
Well, this is the most complicated part if the guide, cause there are two types of meele snipers (they end up being the same in the end). So there is:

The agressive Sniper (A caucious but high damage dealing sniper) and the meat shield sniper (Cant imput as much damge as the agressive sniper but can hold more time in a fight)

Agressive Sniper

Didnt find good image so have this gif of me when I discovered the power of the agressive sniper. The agressive sniper is the most brave of them all. And is the rarest of the meele sniper species since they die quite often. When they look into a group of crited giant ubered robots theey dont think ''Maybe I should get out of the way and let my team take care of this''. NO! He doesnt think. If he thinked, he wouldnt go there. But he goes. And he WINS!! (and dies but that is just small details :P). SO lets talk about upgrades. In the eyes of the agressive sniper there are only three upgrades: Swing Speed, so more chance of crits and so killing robots faster, Health on kill, so you can continue on battle FOREVER, and Movement speed, so not even the fastest robots can run from a knife up theyre metal butt. In the middle of that you have to upgrade some resistances. The agressive sniper isnt stupid. He knows he will die instantly if he goes in there with nothing. So, upgrade a resistance here and there and you will be okay (and a advice, he is a MONSTER against Tanks, tell them to leave the tank to you, it will dissapear in a second). About the canteens, buy crit canteens to let that health on kill maxed out really shine.

Defensive Sniper

You know why this sniper isnt afraid of the spy revolver? Because he has resistances upgraded. That bullet is gonna do 10 damage to him. That knife is gonna do 150 damage to the spy. So yh, the defencive sniper has a good reason to go running into the enemy. Cause they dont do nothing to him. See what resistances you need by checking what robots are coming that round. And also very importat do health on kill and swing speed. Those are secondary objective, only when you have maxed out the resistances or have spare money.

End
I will probably will continue to write this guide has time goes. Anything I should add? If not, thn I know something YOU should add. Me, to go meele sniping togheter :3 Build a army of meele snipers, maybe dominate the world. Add me if you want some bloody fun. And sorry for my bad writing, not really from a english speaking country

No this isnt a joke. Sniper is INSANE in MvM but thats usually only when hes upgraded. But still, he can wipe out huge squads of bots with one shot. I have tested this, and a single fully upgraded huntsman sniper with upgraded jarate can go toe to toe with any Giant Scout in the game. AND WIN. The machina and shooting star can take out a giant heavy with 5 fully charged shots. The time it takes a fully upgraded machina to fire off 5 full charge shots will be too short for the giant heavy to get close enough to you for you to be in his 1200 Hu sight radius. And lets not forget explosive headshot slows bots down. Super Scouts, look out.

Why not? (I guess there are many reasons but Im following the fun factor, not the logic factor). I guess I discovered this when I was playing with friends and each one was going the most useless thing in MvM. One went friendly heavy (he ended up being the medic on our team), other went mini sentry only engy (no dispenser or teleporter), other went bat only scout (was next to me all the time), other rocket jumper and escape plan soldier (not very effective), and then there was me, the guy who didnt know what to choose. I tought, sniper is consider useless, and meele classes are useless in MvM, so I can join this two and meele sniper was born... It was super fun by the way. (and the 6º class was a normal soldier because we needed at least a serious slot. He didnt have fun...)

Note : Mvm spies ignore the Razorback, which means it's useless.

Also, I want to be sure to understand : why the Sniper ? Why not an other class ?

If you want third degree pyro, go third degree pyro, as long as you have fun.
evil_spuds 5 Jan, 2015 @ 9:00pm
The only advantage I see to a melee sniper over any other melee class is the combo of jarate+bushwacka. If you're just going to use stock, why not be a third degree pyro?

NICE now i can be a meele Snipah
Vallinek 4 Jan, 2015 @ 5:51am
I have more satisfaction getting successful consecutive headshots than trying to melee everything. Goofy tactics work only on easy missions. If I ever wanted to go melee, I would be Demoknight, not Sniper.
End of discussion.
