1. Start by building a frame of your choosen ship shape/design construct with duraium

2. next add the frame for your choosen amount of decks each deck needs to be 8"9 tall and 1 metre across, leave space for rooms, turbolift systems, main rooms, jeffries tubes, shuttle bay (if wanted) and torpedo bays
3. Next add the warp nacelle pylons and nacelles(Leave space for the warp coils) and make sure the bussard collectors aren’t in line with the hull
4. Begin filling over the frame with litroium plates no bigger than 1m by 1m
5. After this add rooms and corridors to the decks include a sick bay, bridge(on deck 1), a shuttle bay(if wanted), a engineering room, deflector control, torpedo bays and turbolift system again use duranium to construct these
6. After the steps above add the following systems. Main computer core, Warp core, Warp coils, Eps network, Odn network, power distribution network, plasma system, All warp systems needed, computer access terminals, replicators, Life support, Artificial gravity generators, any engineering systems required, phaser banks and torpedos
7. wire everything together
8. Check with Starfleet command for a ship name and registry then apply this to the hull with a standard spotlight
9. Finish safty checks and hire a crew to work the ship
10. Get exploring!
