Pre-release Aperture [2011 Portal ARG ver]

Description
This version of Aperture was accidentally pushed in a update prior to the actual ARG schedule date. Because of this, this is a incomplete version of the map and is mainly uploaded here for reference purposes.

Subscribing will download the following:
Maps/KF-Aperture_2011

Differences between prerelease and live version
- You can not enter the main room. The doors are shut as TWI didn't code the doors yet.
- 3 giant holes can be found inside each locked door. These "portals" will throw you in a different office room within the map.

That would be a interesting concept in terms of the GLaDOS trader, but I might port the 2.0/2.1 maps from Killing Floor Mod 2.0 or 2.1 if I get experienced in porting stuff from the mod along with getting Killing Floor SDK. Also let me know how the progress is going.

Yes it is possible.

IDK how long ago but someone on the russian modding scene used the reskin RE4 Merchant as a mutator that would replace the Trader. It did work, the only problem was that it needed serverperks and enabling the Merchant mutator would also enable serverperks automatically.

They posted the code and i did try to see what i could exchange to get glados to work instead. This must have been 4 or 5 years ago?!

Im not really into modding this game anymore but i can probably dust out my old laptop and see what I can dig up.

This is most likely the prerelease version which im aware this map was released prior to the ARG actual's event date. Didn't think that it was incomplete and i never checked it. I just assumed it worked.

Even if this is old, i will try to fine the Live version and add both of these maps as a direct download.

I think this was an uncompleted version of the map (pre release). I was just looking at the map through SDK to figure out why the doors of the middle chamber don't open, and realized the pathing nodes and potato chamber are missing.

The middle chamber was accessible when the map first came out. But I'm glad you put this map in the workshop regardless
