Actually u need to download and install 1 patch (it's last patch v1.0.7.0), it helps a lot ;)
Don't know why but Rockstar doesn't auto patch always GTA IV. it have to be done manually
Fully compatible with steam version ( it's not mod so u can play multiplayer)

That file is malware, I get warnings form Malwarebytes and my browser.

hello. with i7 3770k fps is 50-60 but sometimes it drops to 30. i guess its poor optimization.

yeah, well i used that patch already. i lowered the distances to 50 and it stays at a constant 53 frames

ky-ky - hmm yea for this GPU ur CPU is not too good, but remember GTA IV is old so it should be fast aswell, 8gb ram is ok

maybe it depends on the cpu? i have an i5 2320, but im planning to upgrade it
also, i have 8 gb ram

nope still the same, with all settings on very high and distances at 100, no mods
