it started out as a 1v1 pvp match but they disconnected as soon as I foward settled them, trapping them in the corner. Typical civ5 multiplayer.

@Sharples, you clearly don't play PvP at high leve, like at all. If you did you would know what Random FFA is. That's okay though I made a guide to noobs like you get good at PvP. :)

Yes they can. In this picture the human player left after war was declared but regardless of human or AI owning the city if you weaken a city enough and it is near a city state that is at war with them they wil take it. Normally they burn it down but if it cannot be razed then they just keep it.
