IMBACORE's Let's Play Clockwork Empires
By Retroburn
Let's play Clockwork Empires, a town builder game that blends Lovecraftian undertones with the steampunk genre into an awesome god game that is reminiscent of Dwarf Fortress.

Gameplay Videos

Part 1 - Where we learn how to build basic structures (carpentry workshop, low-class house, and the kitchen shown here), set up stockpiles (including a graveyard), and how to farm. We successfully make a self-sufficient community in this video, with our first batch of colonizers staving off starvation with their produce.

Part 2 - Where we learn how to set rally points and make our 3-man military move to specific locations.

Part 3 - Where we finally figure out how to complete that errant kitchen, lose our NCO to fishmen and bandits, and conscript several colonists into our military to make up for the loss.

And oh, here I miss several in-game prompts and get confused.

Part 4 - Where we make a carpentry workshop and stave off the first serious bandit and fishmen raids!

Part 5 - Where we encounter cryptic error messages, try to make gabions to safeguard our stockpiles, and enjoy a healthy influx of new colonists.

Part 6 - Where I make all sorts of mistakes namely: 1. Failing to create a Carpentry Workshop first and 2. Creating an overly large kitchen.

Part 7 - Where we start anew to view the new supply drop animation when that occurs when you start a new colony. This video also rectifies the mistakes I made in Part 6. Also this is v35; it does away with the cryptic code errors we saw in the preceding video.

I'll add Part 6 and 7 today. I accidentally activated the "Acoustic Echo Cancellation" in Realtek when I recorded Part 1 so I hope the audio anomalies won't distract you that much. Thanks for watching Samut!

It'll take me a while to go through all five videos, but once I've done so I'll rate it. Thanks again.
