HOW TO USE

Nextbots use a navigation mesh instead of an ai node. You can generate one for a map by typing in the following command:

"nav_generate"

Depending on the size and complexity of the map it can take from several seconds to several minutes.

Once the process is finished, the map will be restarted and once you've loaded back into the map, make sure to type in "nav_save" so you don't have to generate the navigation again.

No walkable seed positions
If "nav_generate" gives you a message saying "No walkable seed positions" then type in:

"nav_edit 1" then point into complex spots on the map and once finished, type "nav_mark_walkable" then type "nav_generate"

Zombies are frozen / moving in place
This means the map has no navigation mesh, or that the area they're spawned in has no connection to a navigation mesh.

Features:
- Uses garry's mod nextbot ai
- NextBot Zombies 2.0 base
- Targets in a line of sight and will not see past walls ( can be changed via commands )

- Animations from the game
- Attacks NPCs and vice versa
- Multiple skins / models
- Throws rocks

- Includes two nextbots: A "casual" tank and a "realism" tank.

Commands: ( to be typed into the console )
- "nb_stop 1/0" = Stop/Start all nextbots
- "nb_npc 1/0" = Activate/Disable npc targetting
- "nb_attackprop 1/0" Activate/Disable prop/door attacking
- "ai_ignoreplayers 1/0" Nextbots ignore/target players

- "nb_targetmethod 1" Nextbots target in a cone and will not see past walls.
- "nb_targetmethod 2" Nextbots target in a very large sphere around them.
- "nb_ignoreteam x" Nextbots ignore the team index with x being the team index.

Well you should try to disable everything except for the enhanced tank nextbot zombies 2.0 just to make sure.

when i kill it with any weapon the animation keeps repeating, i know its not my addons

Try to disable your addons except for the enhanced tank and nextbot zombies 2.0 then check it out.

Fuck man why dont my tank have any animations? What I have mounted/installed: L4D,L4D2, The Enhanced Tank Addon, Nextbot zombies 2.0. halp :medicon:

fix the death animations please because it keeps repeating its animations 10 times or so until it dies

I'm not going to increase the speed anymore, It's already high enough. If I increased it to the average gmod speed it would look silly beacuse the tank doesn't run that fast at all in the game. The enraged walk is not a glitch. If that was not intended then it would already be fixed.

I'm not sure why people are having death animation problems, I've tested it out several times and I've got no problem.
