This attached video will take you through some of the steps to make the MTT type Title Cards for your videos. It doesn't show you how to use the Image Editor to slice out layers for the card, but it does give a quick idea how I use layers to create the cards. It also shows you how to load the Title Card into both the Material Overlay Effects bin and how to load an overlay at the Shot level.

Creating the Title Card Process

In order to create a MTT type Title Card you are going to need an image editor, preferably one that uses layers and has a VTF export function (either straight from the program or via a VTF Plug-in)

I use GIMP in this process but photoshop will work or practically any image editor that can combine layers. If you don't have a VTF plug in for the program you're using you can always export the finished image as a .PNG, .TGA or .JPG file and use VTFEdit to convert it to a VTF.

No, I will not be sharing my template on the workshop. See if you can create your own and be creative with your Title Card.

Ohhh, and the short at the end of the tutorial proves that you can have a Blue Engineer in the MTT_Engineer video!! (lol)
