Introduction
Hello everyone! This guide will teach you how to take your iTunes music and put it in SFM in a few easy steps. Here's what you'll need.

  • iTunes
  • Some iTunes music
  • Audacity
  • And of course, SFM

You can get Audacity right here[audacity.sourceforge.net]
Setting Up
First, open up Audicity. You'll get an a window like this.
Next, go up to File, go down to import, and click on audio. It's going to ask you what file you want to import. Go to Libraries, then Music, then iTunes, then iTunes Media, then Music, and then find the artist you want and find the album you want and choose which song you want. A song will now be in Audacity. This is what it should look like.
If it looks like the picture above, congrats! You've finished the first step! Onto the next step!
Changing the Format
The next step is to change the format of the song. SFM doesn't support iTunes music. But there is a way to change the format. First, make sure that under where it says Project Rate (Hz) in the bottom left corner, there is 44100. Next, go up to File and click Export Audio. It should bring up a window like this.
Name it what you want and tell it where you want to save it. Before you save it, make sure that where it says Save as type, make it WAV (Microsoft) signed 16 bit PCM. You can go ahead and save it. You have completed step 2! We have one more step to go!
Putting the music in it's place
The last step is to put it into the right folder. First, find the music file you just saved. Next, right click it and click Copy. Next, go to Computer\C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\usermod\sound. Once your there, right click on the white blank space and click Paste. Your song should appear there. You're done! Good job!
Putting it in your SFM project
Wait. There's more? Yes there is. You need to put your song into your SFM project. It's simple! Load up SFM, go into your project, go to the timeline, go to sound on your timeline, right click on Music, click on Add Clip to Track, change to mod filter to usermod, choose your song, and open it! Now it should be in your music track. You're all done! If it didn't work, you probably missed a step. Just go do it again. That's it! I hope you enjoyed this guide!
