maybe it's an age thing but afaIac if I have to resort to third party guides to learn something essential to finishing the game, then the game has failed me. There is far too much of this, with some games it takes a lucky guess to complete the game and it's mainly caused by lazy devs who can't be bothered to make a manual or tutorial that covers the game properly. You can spend hours trying to do something you will never do without a certain piece of info that you can't get by any logical route.
