Intro
Hi! I'm CyclopsStickman13, who has beaten sin on very. David. is one of my favorite games, and I loved playing it, and I hope you will too. Like I said, this is going to be a guide about the basics of David. and a few tips that might come in handy. So without further ado, the basics of David.
The Basic Controls
So, the basic controls are pretty simple: AWSD to move, and to use your slingshot gift, hold down the mouse, and hover the yellow circle over your target. Just a note, though: You can't shoot multiple times in multiple seconds. If you try to, it will do nothing. You need to wait until the circles come back to swirling around David, AKA the square, until you can shoot again. David's gift, though, slows down time. As well, you have infinite jumps. If you hold W, you will jump higher. Otherwise, not much, that's pretty much the basics.
Beating the Enemies
So, if you know the controls, things are pretty easy, but there is a strategy to every enemy.
-Greed, the first, is the easiest. Aim the circles in the right place, and its pretty straightforward. And jump. Jump, jump, jump. JUMP FOR YOUR LIFE!
This is just one example, there is a strategy to every enemy. Once you get really far, take into note that if you beat Pride on Very, you can beat Sin. Personally, I found Pride harder than Sin. But, just my opinion. My last advice: Always try the enemy on Okay first. I found it provides good practice. Otherwise, nothing left but tips!
Tips & Wrapup
Well, I've taught you all the basics, so here are some Very (pun intended) helpful tips:
-Use the fact that you have infinite jumps to your advantage. It can be EXTREMELY helpful in later levels, such as Sin and Brood.
-David's gift slows down time. Use this to your advantage. This is also a later level thing, such as Flee and Pride, but has some applicance to early levels, like Greed.
-Don't try Very unless you are sure you are ready. It is rage-inspiring to die over and over and OVER on Very.
-Speaking of which, lastly, this game is infuriating, but fun. However, if you are near any breakables,
you might want to move them.

Well, that is everything for the basics. For further help, look to other guides. Thanks for reading!
