Your small ship are amazing, each one has a purpose that's unique to each craft and the style you've chosen to build them a unique personality that sets them apart form one another.
Your large ship are well built and have a unique look to them, plus look like their from the same fleet (something I still have trouble pulling off). Only thing I can fault you for is not giving them a good paint job and color scheme, manage to do that and these ships will really stand out.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the feedback!
The armored room was designed to be the CIC. Where you could pilot the ship, man turrets and such since the primary pilot seat at the front is a suicide seat in battle.
With the oxygen, the problem isn't so much that I can't fit the modules in (I've done this by swapping straight conveyors to the sides of CIC with Oxy tanks and the little decorative pillar by the interior turrets with an Oxy generator.
The problem is that both the Aegis and Providence are not actually airtight to start with, most notably with the medium cargo containers and such. I'm currently reworking these areas to get a proper seal. So far I've replaced the forward left medium container with a bunch of smalls, a pair of Oxy tanks and some armour to seal the area around the doorway. It'll be a while before these are ready... :/
I actually haven't published anything new in a while. I have a few newer ships that I have been meaning to do so, but haven't been able to get around to it. I am actually working on a large battleship/carrier that I started as kind of a remake of Errant Defiler. I also have close to 2 dozen small ship designs that I have been planning to release, but with each update there is always something to update. I think when I finish my current project I will probably publish all the others along side it.
Thanks for the compliments though, most of my published ships are pretty rough early designs anyway. The Errant Defiler is actually incredibly slow despite the fact that I meant for it to be a rather fast ship. I have improved my style quite a bit though, through many long hours of trial and error.
From your vessels, I see you've found a sweet balance between armour, maneuverability and gunnery and making it look pretty damn good while you're at it. ( TCS Errant Defiler , looking at you!)
Thanks for sharing! :)
