Overview
The objective is to destroy all other entities on the board. Their appearance is inspired by the board game chess, which pieces are ranked in a hierarchical fashion: pawn, knight, bishop, rook, queen, king. You start as the lowest entity rank: pawn. Once an entity is drained of their energy, you can take its place through transfer, which unlocks any special ability that piece may have.

There are 12 different worlds, each with a leaderboard[urja.me]. Be sure to set your name by clicking on it at the top of the main menu.

Entities
  • Attempt to stay alive by feeding on the energy found around them.
  • Will attack a lower or same rank entity for energy.
  • Have the ability to discharge energy. This is typically used to temporarily stun their prey.
  • Higher ranking entities can move faster and drain energy at greater distances.
  • Can transfer themselves into the depleted shell of higher ranking entities and as a result become that rank.
  • Will cry out for help if being attacked or spot an attack. Any nearby entities will immediately move in to assist.
  • Defend a higher rank entity if seen attacked by a lower rank.
  • The knight, Bishop, and Rook entities have unique abilities:
    • Knight has the ability to enable a shield to block incoming energy attacks.
    • Rook's ability is to create temporary glass structures, which can be used to block entrances/exits.
    • Bishop’s unique ability is the power to resurrect dead entities.
Tips & Tricks
  • Start with the easier maps first and work your way to the next hardest category.
  • Your energy level is displayed in the top left and remaining entities (including you) in the top right. Once your energy level is full, you cannot pick up anymore so when attacking, try to perform a discharge attack in order to continue draining your opponent’s energy.
  • In order to drain the entities energy, you have to have a clear path between you and their energy. Some of the pieces are harder to do this as they have smaller openings. You can also use this defensively as well. The AI will have a harder time taking yours if you hide behind walls, trenches, obstacles, ect.
  • The AI will team up on you if you are a lower rank attacking the higher ranks. If possible, try to transfer into either the queen or king first, which will make it easier to attack the lower rank pieces.
  • The AI also has a great advantage with the bishop. It will revive dead pieces, undoing your progress so after obtaining a high rank the next best step is to remove the bishop. Also, pawns and knights will transfer into the dead bishop so be sure to get them quickly too.
  • Creating a distraction can sometimes make it easier to isolate the higher ranked pieces or weaken the AI’s alliances. One technique is draining a pawn’s energy down enough that they cry for help. If just one piece comes to its aid, you can then take the pawn out and then attack the other piece. If you're outnumbered, just leave it alone and it may attack other pawns, causing a domino effect. If they die the bishop may revive them, which will deplete the bishop’s energy and possibly cause it to attack lower ranks.
  • When the AI is transferring between pieces, you can see their energy moving toward it. If you transfer into the piece before they do, they die. This can be a good technique for speed running.
  • Finally, the AI is incredibly fast. It is very difficult to win against it in close range combat unless you can keep it stunned. However, it’s not so good at long distance attacks, which becomes easier to do once you’re a higher rank. Charge up the discharge energy attack to keep the AI at a greater distance. Good Luck!
