Takaka Valley

This map started as a heightmap of a place in New Zealand called Takaka, I've since taken liberties with many things but the base topography is very interesting to work with. Takaka is a river valley opening up to the sea between mountains, making a gorgeous natural boundary for a city. I recommend using a 25-tile mod with this map, as there are approximately 14 tiles with buildable area, but many of those tiles are mostly mountain or mostly ocean, leading to about 9 tiles of actual space piecemeal.

This map has all outside connections, and all natural resources available. I've put nearly 40 hours in to making and remaking this map, and I still get new ideas every time I open it up.
