I only read it for the articles.

Collect all 12 puzzle pieces without loading a save in between.

Edit: Try setting the games language to English if the guide won't work in your preferred language.

This achievement can be quite annoying to obtain, if you did not get it on your first run while collecting puzzle pieces. If you're having trouble getting it, this short guide will help you.

Basically, it's a comprehension of the tipps from this guide and several comments made in other discussions.

The issue is said to be fixed in one of the update-announcements, but it did not work for me.
I installed it this month (March, 2015), so it shoud've been the latest version at this time.

I am assuming, you already finished the game and got the cheater achievement or know, where to find the 12 pieces. If not, look up this guide for the locations (they are shown in the "Cheater"-section).

(Rightklick the game, select "properties", option is found within "updates"-tab)

Go to the indicated directory.

On Windows-PCs press Win+R to open a dialogue-box.
Enter %LOCALAPPDATA% and hit enter.
(It's basically a shortcut, Microsoft's infopage[www.microsoft.com] about such variables, if you like to know more about that)

Remove the profile.dat-file located in the directory.
Either delete or put it somewhere else, if you're unsure.

Thanks to Desyon for adding, that "Deponia - The Complete Journey" uses another directory. I added those for convenience, too.

I am not sure wether you need a save, which was saved prior to some fixes.
You can try using your own, but I went with one posted in the achievement guide.

If you want to make your own savegame, good strategy would be to clear everthing up until you get the invitation for lady goal. Do not give it to her, but finish everthing else in that part of the game. Do not pick up puzzle pieces yet and don't forget to save :)

The puzzle board has to be empty.
(Extras -> Puzzle)









Do NOT doubleclick them!
This seems to cause problems. When you pick them up, they need to make a sound. One of them is said to be counted twice by the game if doubleclicked. This helps if you're going for the Cheater-Achievement, but it's no good with Pin-Up Goal.

If you did as suggested in step 3, you should collect 8/12 pieces immediately and then give lady-goal the invitation to finish the chapter.
The missing 4 can be collected as soon as you can travel with the boat.
Shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes if you skip through the dialogues.

Assuming that nothing went wrong, the achievement should pop up shortly after fetching the last puzzle piece.
