Description
OB's Diverging Diamond (DDI) SM by Outbreak42

Small diamond intersection in which the two directions of traffic on the overpass roads cross temporarily to the opposite side.

A symmetrical DDI highway-to-road intersection which avoids using traffic lights. Performs well under medium to light traffic.

only works for light traffic. If you have a lot of traffic from the 4 directions the interchange is useless.

@roberto tomás, The amount of roads are fine to achieve the DDI traffic pattern. Ramps are compacted on overhead roads in order to save space.

seems like there's a little more road than you need to achieve all directions of transit
