Do you know if it's possible to screw around with the game files to make the non-engineer bots use the human animations? I'm sure there's a way to do this...
Given that engie bots use the human animations, I am thinking they might already be able to do partner taunts without being broken. Hmmmm...
After the Mecha Engine patch, valve introduced the Engineer as Robot, which didnt result in a new animation set like with the older robots, no, they use the same animation set as the Engineer.
Only two animations are different to the human one (as far as i observed in !robot servers and ingame):
- Walking animation with the wrench out. (Not carrying a building or anything)
- Meele hit animation while standing.
(Crouching results in the human animation)
In short, Valve was lazy as fuck on the Engineer.
