Japan Rhine

This map is made from an imported map of the Kiso River near Nagoya, Japan. Its highways were based loosely on the highways in the region.

This map boasts a huge amount of fertile land and forests, which combined with an abundance of wind and strong water currents lends itself well to very green cities. There is also a large amount of stone placed in elevated areas.

The hills in the southwestern area of the map were fine tuned to be a region that offers a lot of creative possibilities for city layouts. With the wide array of landscapes, the Japan Rhine should offer a little of something for any kind of city builder.

The highway intersections used in this map were created by Timboh.

NEW Version 2.0:

I've updated this map with additional streams and rivers as a separate map called "Japan Rhine 2.0". It offers more water and beauty at the cost of a little space, so I've kept the original up as well for those who want the large open areas this map offers.
