II. Gear

This section pertains to any member level 50 and above. In this section we will talk about the Pro’s and the Con’s of crafting, which dungeons to run and what gear to buy.
If you are a fresh level 50, please check the guide linked below for an overview.
http://manoflegends.com/archeage/archeage-one-level-50-guide-ultimate-guide-archeage-endgame/

A. Weapons
- Hasla: This is the first set of weapons you can get by simply farming. This is the best group of weapons to get if you have nothing else.
- Crafted: Very RNG dependant, at this point in the game the best crafted level are Delphinad, follow by Epherium level.
- Serpentis: There are a few types of weapons that drop in this dungeon. They all have the ability to be upgraded to higher forms. http://archeagedatabase.net/us/npc/13441/ (Weapon List).
- Obsidian: Upcoming with Secrets of Ayanad. Tier 1- 6 will be available. More info will come on these weapons.

B. Armor
- Greater Howling Abyss: This dungeon is very easy to run, if you are a fresh 50 we can get you a 7 of 7 set to get you started. Speak to one of the officers to get a quick run through.
- Auroria: The next upgrade I suggest after GHA is purchasing or farming for Auroria gear. Each piece of armor has a different type of bonus, there are also three different sets. Make sure you choose wisely, these sets are quite easy to obtain and will give you a decent boost past GHA. (Depending on the economy, these are the cheapest pieces of armor you can buy.)
- Serpentis: This is the next level above Auroria, the set bonuses are pretty good and will be the best armor you can get from a dungeon at this time.
- Crafted: Once again the best you can get in-game but is very RNG dependant.

Getting ready for PvP, we should all strive to reach the highest tier crafted weaponry and armor. Since that is difficult we should all help each other get at least Tier 3 Hasla and a full Serpentis set. Note: If you would like to run Serpentis please go to this thread: [insert link].
III. Consumables

It is very important that anytime we go out and do group pvp that we carry some essential consumables. From here on out I will refer to these consumables as Full Raid Buffs. Since most of these consumables are time based, we need to make sure to use them at the start of battle or when anticipating a fight.

A. Foods and Drink:
- Tables:

o Earth’s Bounty Bread Table (HP +1300),
o Ocean’s Bounty Drink Table (Mana +1300),
o Earth’s Bounty Barbeque Table (Strength / Agility),
o Ocean’s Bounty Seafood Table (Intelligence / Spirit )

- Mana:
o Aged Haze Liquor [drink], Increases max Mana +1040 for 30 minutes.
o Hearty Soup [foohearty soud] restores +213 Mana every 2 seconds.

- Health:

o Tangy Soda [drink] Increases max health +1040 for 30 minutes.
o Deluxe Sandwich [food] restores +270 Hp every 2 seconds.
B. Potions:

- Defense

o Kingdom’s Heart, increases Physical Defense +2400 for 30m.
o Ancient Library Relic, increases Magic Defense +2400 for 30m.

o Mossy Pool, restores +1230 mana [9 sec cooldown]

C. Spellooks:
- Brick Wall: Decreases all types of received damage for 30m.
- Unstoppable force: Increases Melee and Magic Attacks +86 for 30m.
D. Talismans:
- Valau Rune
- Zena Rune
- Basta Rune
- Fortuna Die:
o Please view this guide as reference: http://www.tenaciousgamers.com/index.php?threads/explaining-runes-die.5373/

Note! These do not persist through death, so it is important to re-buff if you die.
IV. Builds

Let’s talk about builds, group pvp in Archeage is very intricate. We need to protect our healers, control the front line and kill off any of our enemies support. For the most part our group does very well by keeping together and following orders. In addition to prioritizing our targets we need make sure we have the right classes to go up against the enemy. This is where we are lacking, lets get ourselves setup with pvp classes and get organized.

A. Tanks:
- Skullknight – [occultism | defense | auramancy] Super tank class, used for control of the frontline.
- Abolisher – [battlerage | defense | auramancy] Used for single target pulls and heavier DPS.
- Hexblade – [battlerage | defense | witchcraft] Heavy CC based class used to control incoming tanks.
- Defiler [ occultism | defense | witchcraft ]

B. Melee
- Blighter – [battle rage | defense | shadowplay] Stealthy tank with high DPS.
- Darkrunner – [battlerage | auramancy | shadowplay] Very fast, very high DPS. (Cloth Killer)

C. Range
- Stone Arrow [archery | defense | shadowplay] The best and in my opinion the only archery class to be played in Group Pvp. (Kill Low HP players and targets healers)
- Cabalist [ sorcery | witchcraft | defense] Very high magic damage, used to drop meteors on large groups. Has CC potential as well.
- Battlemage [ occultism | defense | sorcery] Tankier magic damage dealer. Has CC skills.
D. Healer
- Templar [vitalism | defense | auramancy] Best healer for pvp, has the best chance of survivability.
- Paladin [vitalism | defense | battlerage] Can be the best healer in the game with the right gear. Does a decent amount of damage as well.

E. Support
- Caretaker [ vitalism | songraft | defense] Used to be the bard of the group, while still be able to survice attacks.
- Cleric [ vitalism | songraft | auramancy] Secondary healer, with heavy support roles. Playing songs and using Protective Wings when needed.

I’m sure you can see the trend here. Defense is in almost all of these builds, in group pvp we want to be able to keep as many raid members alive as possible. Invul is such a good and annoying skill to have, it forces the enemy to focus on a different target, allowing you to reposition yourself if needed and have your cooldowns reset. You may also notice that majority of these classes except for Healers and Support have quite a few of CC’s built into them. This enables one player to sway the battle in our favor and or stop someone from going after our healers.

Reaper is great class, I would say more so now with the level 55 Sorcery skills such as Gods Whip. For large scale PvP I would switch out the Shadwoplay for Defense.

This will help you survive since you won't really be doing much sneaking around or using any of your closer abilities.

I play reaper too, I personally love them. I got cloth armor + staff, and I can wreck (if I can sneak up to the enemy and hit first). Be careful as a reaper though, they burn through mana fast. Get lots of Intellect
