[NERFED]Easily farming credits. For the casual player.

DE decided that it was time to nerf a mod no one uses, thus making this guide moot. Guess you can just look at the comment section to see what other people think are better alternatives.

The situation.
Like ever other Warframe player, you're starting to get a bit short on credits. You could try to get someone to take you for a non-endless T4 mission but everyone and their grandmother has the same exact idea, and you'll probably just sit in the recruitment chat for a hefty amount of time. Or maybe you just don't have the gear for a T4 mission anyway but still want to make a quick buck.

So what do you do in a situation like this? Do you just sit idly in recruitment chat, racing others to T4 missions? Or will you go gather some dosh near effortlessly with this little tidbit I'm about to share with you?

Of course you're gonna go for the latter, why else would you be here.
Where are we going and what do we need?
Our destination is Jupiter. Home of the Corpus.

What we need is a certain mod often overlooked as transmuation fodder.

That's right. Master Thief. This rare mod is dropped by Grineer Scorpions, The Hyena Pack and is a Tier 3 Corpus defense reward. This mod can also be acquired from transmuation. You might've also noticed that at max rank, this thing takes up 13 mod points. So unless you don't have a Naramon(Dash) polarity, you'll just have to get 13 points from either equipping a positive polarity aura mod or doing some rework on your current build.

At max rank, this mod grants a 40% chance of unlocking a locked locker, which is a 2/5 chance. Now it might not seem that much for the layman, but upon using it, you'll start to notice that 40% is actually quite generous as it can turn a room of locked lockers like this one:

Into a room of (mostly) unlocked lockers:

A room such as this can easily net you a thousand credits just from its lockers and containers. And this tileset is chocked full of them so go on and get their ill earned blood money!

Here comes the money!
Alternative method.
As it turns out, Master Thief is a rare mod. And as such, is hard to come by. Worry not though, because if you have a Kubrow handy, you can don it with a much more common Scavenge mod, which grants a whopping 90% chance of prying open locked lockers. That's an insane 9/10 chance! This mod is dropped by Feral Kubrows found on Earth and Drahks found in pretty much any Grineer mission on and after Saturn.

It is preferred to use a Sahasa Kubrow as they also come with a Dig ability which can yield some extra loot.

Now why didn't I recommend this mod in the first place? Because it's a painfully slow process. With Master Thief, you can just run your face through a row of lockers in a few seconds. As opposed to Scavenge which requires you to wait for your Kubrow to play an animation before the locker is accessible. It also consumes its energy so it won't be doing it consistently.

Now before you start rubbing your hands together and booking up a nose lenghtening surgery, know this; Scavenge and Master Thief do not synergize well with oneanother. Your Kubrow will ignore lockers you have attempted to open. And two Master Thief donning Warframes also don't work so well together. A locker that was attempted to be opened once but kept itself closed will stay shut til the end of times.
Getting some small bonus cash.
Like a stripper, the Warframe Chroma can thow away his clothes to squeeze out some extra income from others. And also like a stripper, he's extremely attractive. And has an insultingly good looking pair of buttocks.

But I'm getting off track here. What I'm saying is that enemies killed by your discraded clothingEffigy have an increased credit drop rate. So it is advisable to deploy it near a cluster of enemies to maximise your profits. But keep in mind, Chroma wil become more vulnerable without his pelt, but also more agile.

Another good warframe for farming is Nekros, with his desecrate ability. To use his ability to the fullest extent, equip a weapon with a high slash proc and gore your enemies into a mush And then desecrate the parts. You can only gore enemies into three parts. Torn off limbs(that are not part of the ragdoll) count towards the total parts gored.
Closing off.
There ya have it, folks. A nearly effortless way to get a good amount of credits from a relatively low level planet.

I am in no way claiming that sticking to Jupiter is a must. But since it is a low level planet, you can sacrifice a mod from your build in order to add Master Thief without suffering too much of a loss in your performance. Unless you have a build made specifically to cater towards Master Thief, I wouldn't advice you to go on any higher level planets because those 13 mod points and mod slot can always be used for something else.

Now go out there, hope Lady Luck and RNGesus smile upon you, and get some wonga!

This is a well written guide, but I have to say to any new players:

Farming Dark Sector Defense missions on late game planets is probably way better for several reasons:

1. Camp and kill is less tedious than running around opening lockers.
2. You have a higher chance of getting some rare resources while you are there.
3. You will get FAR more affinity doing a 5 round DSD than clearing a capture mission on Jupiter.
4. You can finish a 5 round DSD iin probably less amount of time it would take to run through a mission opening all the lockers.

DSD on late game planets won't require newer players to have keys, and can be farmed repeatedly for free. They may just need to get a taxi the first time.

So if you want to get credits AND acomplish other things at the same time, in less time, DSD is probably the best bet.
