USEA Katniss (exploration ship)

Unfortunattely sounds do not play when you trigger them for the first time (don't know, why=( ). It can spoil your expirience of the first powering up, sorry, guys=(
Please press button slowly - triggering something before it ended it's previous programm may lead to some problems with sound bloks and LCD panels.
9 turns the ship power and thrusters on and plays some nice sound effects.
Gear controls - 7 and 8 of the 1st screen. 7 folds the gear (can take a long time, be patient and do not press it again - it will mess the LCD settings). 8 locks it and turns off the proximity alarm and gyroskopes (!!).
Do not use door's terminals - use buttons instead. That can mess timer's setup too.
6 turns the avionic lights on/off.




Deep Space colonization boom is still strong and that's why USEA is presenting you it's new exploration class ship, the Katniss - the straight upgrade of the previous exploration ship, Mitty. While being maneuverable, fast and well-protected, that ship also provides a lot of facilities and powerfull weapons. Despite being much heavier than carrier-based fighters, ship of this class shows a much wider range of capabilities.
As all previous ships of USEA it is powered up by the battaries (for the lower temperature signature and safety) but still has few emergency reactors onboard (and a couple of solar panels - just in case). As usual, it's also capable of entering the atmosphere and has special copter engines for vertical atmospheric take off. It has a room for two people, one prison cell (for using it as bounty-hanting ship), shower, toilet, working desk, FTL drive, assembler and refinery, oxygen tanks and generator.
The cockpit has it's one oxygen system and a bunch of LCDs showing you different ship characteristics using awesome Configurable Automatic LCD script. Ship acselerates up to the 200 in 15 seconds and is capable of jumping for the long (biggest range is 60km) distances.
Ship also has a lot of timers and different foldable elements.




This world has a small scenario (sort off). Just check out the Distress beacon located near one of the platforms)

Ship was greatly inspired by another russian guy, A1TERO and his great crafts (Cataclism and Galas). We talked a little and he gave me permission to use his screens and some decorative ideas.
