Getting the "Smoke and Mirrors" achievement
By CaucasianCrustacean
Stealing the Diamond in under 10 minutes is, believe me, a damn hard task to pull off. I'm here to help with that.

About the Achievement
SMOKE AND MIRRORS
In The Diamond job, steal the diamond in under 10 minutes. Unlocks the "Pazuzu" mask, "Diamond" material and "Horus" pattern.

Yep, that achievement right there.

If you've ever done the diamond heist, you already know it can take awhile to actually complete, whether you go loud or stealth. That being said, completing the heist in 10 minutes is truly a feat to behold if successfully done. Besides, it also gives you Riki with a mohawk and a completely metallic material that looks beautiful on ANY mask!

So, you think you're up for it?

Well then, let me help you out on that.
Stealth? Loud?
First, we need to compare the lengths of going loud and going in all sneaky-beaky like.

STEALTH
1) Get in
2) find 4 circuit boxes scattered throughout the museum and rewire them
3) find a keycard and get past a 1 minute time lock
4) find another keycard and get past ANOTHER 1 minute time lock
5) lockpick another door to get into the lair of the diamond
6) solve the floor puzzle
7) nab the diamond
8) get out

LOUD
1) Get in
2) find the security room and hack the computer
3) wait for the hack to finish (3:20)
4) force the time locks (2:00 combined)
5) lockpick the diamond lair
6) solve the floor puzzle OR set off the alarm, triggering the gas (about 2 minutes, could be wrong on that)
6.1) drill the diamond case open, if gas was triggered (more damn time)
7) get out by helicopter (2:00)

So, in comparison, Stealth has a guarunteed 2:00 used while Loud uses around 7:00 (if gas is activated), maybe more. That means that, in stealth, you have 8 minutes to do all other tasks other than wait for timelocks. In loud mode, You'll be waiting - yes, WAITING - around 7 minutes only allowing about 3 to do other tasks.

In that case, we'll be speed stealthing this mission.
Planning
For this mission, you're gonna need A HELLA LOTTA MEMORIZATION to pull this off. Mainly what path to take, as most of your time is gonna be used finding keycards and circuit boxes.

First off is knowing where to find the circuit boxes, since there are around 15 different spawn points for them. I've circled possible locations for circuit boxes on these maps below:
MAIN FLOOR
LOWER LEVEL (RED ROOM)
STORAGE

Keep in mind that there will only be 4 or 5 circuit boxes in the map, so you might just get lucky or unlucky with your first few.

Next up is the path you need to take. This is easily one of the faster ways to look for fuse boxes that I've found, but it might not help too much with civilians and keycards.

First off is getting in. If there are no guards or cameras at the door, just blow it right open with a few silenced shots. Once the coast is clear, make a run for the storage room.

Once you're in, check these spots for fuse boxes. Also, try and find a civilian and tie them up or kill them to get a keycard for the time locks up ahead. Try hiding them in one of these rooms so nobody sees them.

Don't bother with the archives unless you're still looking for a civilian, there's never any fuse boxes back there.

Just after you come up the stairs, you'll see a small alcove to your right (the preplanning map doesn't show it, but trust me. It's there.). Check there for a fuse box and hack it if it's there. After that, go around the courtyard clockwise, looking for rooms with high voltage signs and fuse boxes in alcoves.

This is just a nice little alcove where, more often than not, a fuse box can be found. Hack it, and move on.

After that, run around the corner and check the room to see if it's got a fuse box. Then keep running until you get to the unfinished exhibit, since there always seems to be a fuse box here, considering the fact that there's 3 spawnpoints for it in there.
By this point in time, you probably found all 4 fuse boxes and should get a keycard as fast as possible. If not, you have rotten luck and need to scout the last 4 spawnpoints.

Get your ash outta there as quick as you can and check the room to the east and the red room downstairs.

Since these are all doors, it's a real pain if your fuse box is behind one of them. get the door with a fuse box open and get out. Find a keycard, and get moving.

Get a keycard, get to the timelock, and while you're waiting on the first time lock, find another keycard. I've found the storage area to be surprisingly good for finding and hiding civilians, so try backtracking there and find another.

the rest of the heist you should know. get past 2nd timelock, pick the door, solve the floor puzzle, and ECM rush outta there. Simple

"Sounds simple, but simple doesn't always mean easy" -Bain
Excecuting the plan
As we all know from failed Shadow Raids, plans don't tend to always go as - well - planned.

1) Do not take out security.

Security cameras are the least of your issues here. You're gonna be running right past them anyway, so why waste time and body bags taking him out?

2) Do not steal artifacts.

Artifacts get rid of your sprint ability, so you really shouldn't press your luck with getting one. Even if you bought a bag man right next to an artifact, you're gonna be shaving precious seconds off of your already demanding timeframe.

3) Killing civilians is damn helpful.

If you've got money to burn, it's a much better idea to kill the civilians for keycards rather than tying them up and letting their AI figure out what you're saying. Just go ahead and shoot 'em then hide their bodies in the room. It's much faster and gives you more time.

4) Play on normal difficulty

Less guards. 'Nuff said.

5) The achievement doesn't count until you're in the van

Just handing the Diamond to a bag man won't get you the achievement, you need to COMPLETE the mission. Get in, steal the diamond, get out. No gimmicks.

6) Have a sprinting/ecm build

You're gonna be running EVERYWHERE in this mission. Come prepared with stamina, sprint speed, and ECM skills if you want to do this.
Celebrating
If yo followed the instructions correctly, you'll see you got the achievement in the top-left corner of your screen. Congrats! you just unlocked Riki with a mohawk!

That's about all I got. If there's anything I left out, let me know. Feel free to add me and ask any questions you may need about this heist, if need be.

Great guide, mate, it's a ton of help just to see where the fuse boxes are. 10/10 minutes, would speedrun again.

I did this on Normal Stealth, and I got the 10 Min. By accident.
Why can't I get all the achievements that way?
