The Forest
The forest was bitterly cold and I was losing sunliight too fast. I can no longer see my newfound dwelling. There are no other buildings in sight; woods in every direction. I can hear those ghastly howls again. They sound like hungy wolves. I wonder how dense the pack is. I am prepared to take on a few mangy muts, but a pack would certainly overwhelm me in seconds. I don't want to be dinner.

There is a blizzard moving in and my visibility is quickly diminishing.
These hills appear to be the decimated wastelands of some long extinct society. Not quite a civilization by any means, but maybe there is a great city in the distance.
I see no trace of the stranger. I wonder how he finds his way around in these snow storms.

Perhaps I am on the right track.

Hunted
Suddenly I hear them.
My heart pounds in my chest as I feel my arm take action on its own. Instinct tells me they're close and in numbers; I hear the countless footsteps.

QUICK!!!! SWING!!!!!!!!!!! HACK 'EM!!!!!!!! AAAAAGHGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm gonna die out here!!!!!!

I fight for my life, swinging like a madman!! Not knowing where I was or which way I was going, I run. I run until my lungs freeze and burn.

When I feel safe enough I stop.

And that's when I hear it.......

An eerily wretched grinding of teeth; A horrid noiseless cry. The sound makes my skin crawl and my blood turn to ice. It sounded close and unnatural. I look around and......

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
WWWWWWWHHHHHHHAAAAAATTTTTT THE..........................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

......................

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I run faster than I had ever seen anyone do so in my entire life. My legs burn like my muscles are going to snap, but I keep sprinting, and I don't stop.

Until I see a tall tower up ahead.

Whooaaahhh....

It, too, looks abandoned.

What has happened here?
Ruins
A village!!!!!
Yes!

I wonder if this is where my friend is!
I hope there are no hostile natives here..

What is this place?

This town was decimated by something terribly evil.

The Fallen
It's dead quiet here. Not a soul.
I am beginning to feel awfully alone in these strange haunted woods!
There's no telling if that ghoul still followed me.

Clearly this was once a thriving town with a functioning trade market of sorts.

I check around the small village for anyone, anything....
A blacksmith's forge. Interesting...

There! Look!!
IN THE SKY! A DRAGON!!!

I quickly run out of sight, hoping it did not see me. At this point I am stricken with shear terror.
Demons, hungry wolves, and now a ginormous dragon!

I turn the corner and that's when I see him...

NOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What's happened?!?!?!??!?!?

My savior lay there slain on the ground!
Who has done this?!?!?

I hear footsteps...

AAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!

HEEEELLLLLLLLPPP!!
[AGhhh!!!]
YOU KILLED MY FRIEND!!! DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I fight for my life! I play baseball with their undead hollowed creepy skeleton heads!

Not much time to grieve over the loss of my friend here.
At least I've found him..

Now what?...

Do I carry him back to his home for a proper burial and ceremony?
I think that sounds respectful and decent of me to do. Tomorrow. It is getting dark and cold. And I fear what awaits in that dark evil forest.

Cursed

Night falls on, Argo? Could this perhaps be the place Stranger mentioned?
A village of this size would surely keep written records and pass on knowledge. Maybe here is where he traveled to for his document; this Argo Blotter. But who would've wanted him to be dead? Did he have rivals? Was he a retired warrior whom fell victim to some troubled youth's thirst for redemption?

Or was he slain by the two demons..

I find it safest to just return here after his ceremony. I wouldn't feel righteous by taking over his property anyway. Maybe he has family out on expeditions. Or more enemies hunting him.
Either way, it is too far into the forest to feel safe anymore.

This place is much safer. This will be home as long as no villagers already take up residency here. I hope they let me stay.

I hope it's not those fleshless savages!

This place offers no comfort. Even the howl of the wind keeps me on edge. I am quickly running out of this cured meat. At dawn I must hunt.

I hear a huge buck out there! Maybe I don't have to wait until morning!

LO AND BEHOLD! A MONSTER!

I quickly put it back out of its misery and get it out of my way. Food on my mind. That buck is mine!

As I cook the deer meat I contemplate about the skeletal creatures.
I wonder if they were ever even dead. Did they decay while never dying? Who are they? Where did they come from? Is it a disease? Oh no! Will I get it?! Will I turn to one of them?

Cannot. Must not.

Perhaps it would behoove me to leave this wretched place altogether.
That's it. Tomorrow I will return Stranger to his home and properly bury him. Then I will spend the night there preparing myself for a lone journey away from this crazy evil place!

Argo
I was wrong. So wrong. So, so wrong.

This place is a feeding ground for the evil within the forest.
This town is simply a lure. A Trap!

Argo is a place of pure evil and demons. No sleep. No safety. No chance of escape.

The next day did not start as planned, instead, beginning with fighting off the hungry things waiting for me.

I fought for my life throughout the entire day and evening. Night fell quickly.

I took a few of the zombie skulls and stacked them up using a stick as a support. Now I can use this to mark my territory.

This is home, for now, I suppose. Wouldn't be wise of me to go anywhere in this condition. I am hungry, weak, scared, and unprepared to venture any distance into this dark forest.
So I stay. And fight. And shiver.
I hunt, I eat, and I gather supplies, and I prepare for my escape from this awful place.

This is Argo.

A tortured village overrun by mobs of demons and hungry animals.

Nothing is here. No life. No society.

I must move on...

The action, is a bit repetitive, when fighting the wolves, you just yelled your action... Do something like this...

One wolf was bearing down on my, I quickly hopped out of the way. Hitting him while I moved. Another wolf came to my side, hitting me, and it damaged the armor I was wearing, I hopped back. I was swinging my sword, trying to hit something as the other wolf opened his jaws aiming to kill me.
My sword his his neck.
The final wolf hit me from behind, I turned, and jumped to the side, swinging my sword, disabling his paw.
He whimpered as he limped.
I swung my sword once more, the death blow.
