Continuous Flow 2-way Intersection

Description
This Continuous flow intersection (CFI) design provides prioirity to traffic on a single arterial roadway over intersecting collector roads. The separation of left turn traffic and overall design promotes better lane usage.

This version only has the CFI going in one two directions instead of all four. You can also get a 4-way version from the workshop: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=432977872

The 4-way version is a little more compact and features a working icon! Hopefully I can do the same for this one in the near future.

You will need to tweek the lane usage, add 4 traffic lights and tweak the light timings to get optimal efficiency, but not doing it is a step up from a standard cross intersection and a step down from a cloverleaf. It's unknown if this can handle more traffic than a circle.

"A continuous flow intersection (CFI), also called a crossover displaced left-turn (XDL or DLT), is an alternative design for an at-grade road junction. Vehicles attempting to turn across the opposing direction of traffic (left in right-hand drive jurisdictions; right in left-hand drive jurisdictions) cross before they enter the intersection. No left turn signal in the intersection is then necessary. Instead, vehicles traveling in both directions can pr"oceed, including through vehicles and those turning right or left, when a generic traffic signal/stop sign permits."

NOTE:
There are at least 2 traffic lights missing and can only be added via mods.

Here's an informational video from Utah Department of Transportation.

I haven't used this interchange before. Does it actually work or will the cims stop at the second intersection like what they do when the distance between intersections is too short?

Originally from Mexico this became well known after being implimented in Utah. My home town, Melbourne, has decided to build these intersections.

Haven't figured it out, yet :/ After adding the lights in for the left turn lane crossing the oncoming traffic the times seems to work OK. I also screwed the alignment of the arterial road. I may have to do a new version that gets them lined up correctly.
