Canals in the Netherlands

Description
The Netherlands, in all its glory, with dikes, canals and a land so flat a marble will lay still on it :)

All kidding aside, it is a great map to play. easy since its flat so most asets work fine. Since someone else uploaded my original Canals map i was reluctant to actually post this one. Still i wanted to improve on it, and i feel it qworks better now. The biggest canals are wider with inlets that allow for harbours to be placed. changed flight routes and changed resources a bit more.

Smoothend down the side walls some more. Also since we now have multiple seawall and canal side prop mods to choose from this can only become a more and better map overtime, as you can see in the screenshot. needs some teraforming to get right, but that is a mod as well :)

Lovely map, I'm gonna have fun building on it but Gah! those prebuilt Highways make my eyes bleed :)

@fidgyart, it was easily done in the map editor. Made a beginning with the required depts, Exported this as a hightmap and opened it in paint. There i just used the eyedropper to get the correct color and drew lines. Once done imported it back into the map editor, et voila! One flat map with canals :)

@HerrSticks, i get that as well. Seems to be a geme engine issue, you could find some nice seawalls on the workshop though.
