this is a guide for people who are having trouble with neurax worm on normal difficulty

step 1

in this step, as always, to pick a country. when i play as neurax worm, i pick india, since it borders 3 other nations and is poor, and since its poor you dont have to buy drug resistance early. and it has a sea port and airport

step 2

Ok now in this step save up atleast 40 - 60 ponts to buy neural breach cerebral tendrils, adrenegric construction, cold 1 and heat 1. dont worry about the sypmtoms adding severity because they wont and 1 of them remove severity.

step 3

now save up 50 - 70 points and start buying transmissions until you reach air 1 and water 1. buy them but dont buy air 2 and water 2.now go to abilities and buy drug resistance 1 but not 2. go to symptoms and buy Anxiolytic Infusion and Psychosis to decrease severity greatly.

step 4

Now this step will take a little longer but it wont matter. but you need to reach 100+ and infect the entire world. reason for 100+ because you need extra points just incase if you want to decrease the cure and to buy the left symptoms branch. now once you reach 100+ dont buy anything until the whole world becomes infected. then buy the left branch untill you reach transendence, see also why you need 100+, because you need to buy the symptoms to get to Transendence. now just wait a few mins or seconds, if you have the fastest speed on. and there you have it.

Thank you nightshade, although im surprised that many people still use this guide since there are better (written) guides out here on this community. Now I wrote this guide when i was 14 years old and i didn't really have good grammar, one of these days i might rewrite it to make it look better and clarify somethings. But i appreciate all the support this guide has gotten over the years.

just a note for all who are saying this guide is "dumb" or "Inefficient"; this guide is built to get you victory via enslavement, not genocide. therefore, cure concerns don't matter if you follow the guide to the letter as the effects of Transcendence kick in fairly immediately and remove the desire to cure the disease.

if your disease was cured it was most likely due to your own impatience, or simply due to you upgrading too far in transmission, as that increases severity, making you detectable.

this guide works perfectly as it keeps you completely undetected until you initiate step 4, at which point, it is far too late for the game to do anything about you
