ODST Drop Pod

I did not make this, thlaughincheese created this about 5 years ago and I fixed it for Gmod 13.

Anyway, this is basically the drop pod from Halo 3: ODST. You can launch it and it will fly automatically, or you can manually control it. Here are the controls:


USE key: Get in or out of the pod
Primary fire: Launch the pod/advance stages(override mode only)
WASD keys: Control the pod (override mode only)
RELOAD key: Toggle override mode
SPRINT: Fire thrusters on manual mode

Once you land, left click to shoot your pod door off, or right click to have your door simply fall off.

You can find the platform in the Entities category. In order to launch, move the platform a good distance above the map and freeze it in place, then get in and launch.

Future fixes: A 3rd person camera that shows the outside of the pod

Doesn't launch? Spawn it higher up, may not work on some maps with low skybox
