Description

Extremely fast, armed to the teeth and crewed by Wasp veteran pilots, the Piranha Heavy Interceptor invokes sheer terror in enemy bomber squadrons. Two large ship Gatling guns allow the gunner to engage multiple secondary targets and missiles, freeing the Pilot to pursue individual threats, shredding enemy SAC with a storm of lead from the Piranha's twelve Gatling guns. Fortunately for enemy squadrons, all Tsunami Series HSAC are plagued by high construction costs and expensive, difficult maintenance, leading Piranhas to be deployed in small numbers only. Nevertheless, despite it's expense, the Piranha's fearsome reputation and high success rate against SAC make it a highly sought after addition to any fleet.

I try to make all my ships suitable for use in survival PvP and I'm trying to achieve some sort of balance between vessels to allow for multiple fleet builds, if you use my ships and find a good combination or a bug/problem, let me know.

Nice, I just had this idea of placing 2 more large gatling turrets on it, 1 on top and one on the bottom so that it can fire at targets that are below and above, roughly in alignment with the existing large gatling turrets. SInce I hear that the 200mm containers are only conveyable using large ship blocks, the ship would look more like an arrow and and less like an hourglass with the forward mounted rocket/missile launchers.

Yea, I'll be redoing this class at some point, I never really liked this one anyway.

One should be able to replace the gatling guns (not gatling turrets) with rocket launchers, but might require more ajustment than just swaping the forward weapons.

if it does that means the projector will not project blocks that are connected via rotor or piston that may also change soon

where are the gatling guns? when i spawn the blueprint they are gone

No mods here. This uses a rotor with a large base and a small head.
