Instead of a VTOL engine we can just land in a vertical position

a Keen Dev mentioned that they tested the planet gravity force using the Red Ship, and it needed at least 12 Large Thrusters to be able to take off and out of the gravity well. Of course it was a prototype test, so it can be changed later.
I also hope for a new engine specifically for landing and take off, and also an auto hover feature, so you can just leave your ship in the sky floating and static in the air.
