No Localized Ranks

解説
Removes all localized ranks like "Wali" and "Exarch".
Because the Greeks should just learn ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ English.

Religious names are left intact.

Mod does not change checksum.

Updated for 2.8.1

As a native Greek, we absolutely do not speak fluent english, half the counrty does not speak it I think.

Also, 'Byzantine' absolutely saw contemporary use occasionally, I have no clue where you got any of that (other than wikipedia, apparently).

If you do not like my simple attempt at help as far as basic historical knowledge goes then you could have simply deleted my comment instead of attepting to counter my argument of debate with a null point within said context.

I will not be respoding further on this matter. I have far better things to do with my time.

(Note: Again I have Disgraphia so my spelling may be fairly poor in this responce and I do not feal the need to attempt to fix it all)

First: You give me a link to a wikipedia artical and expect me to take it without a entire pitcher full of "grains of salt."

The fact that said arctical itself does not disprove my point or prove the counter argument I was wrighting against only adds to my appathy for this "argument." All that the unrealiable artical said was that the name/title "Byzantine/Byzantine Empire" was not used by many in the WEST untill later along our timeline. That does not mean that useing said name/title in a history/simulation game TODAY is wrong or invalid.

Coocoodas: All culture-specific names should be localized. If you see weird names,

Some religion-specific names are a bit stupid, but what should they be called instead? It feels silly to call them bishops and prince-bishops.

Could you possibly make a version with localize titles as well? I prefer count to something like "Marzonban," for instance. Also would it be possible to get a version where religious titles are in English, too?

Adam McPeake: Wat? The Romans called themselves "Romans" (Basileia tôn Rhōmaiōn / Imperium Romanum). That slur name "Byzantine" was really from 1900s as a way to deny the Romans their Roman identity.

(Second sentence:) When the Roman Empire fell to the Goth's invashion* (sorry I have Dysgraphia so spelling is quite hard for me some times I tried to make shure there were no mistakes but apparently I missed that gramatical one in the attempt at fixing my spelling)

And if you do not belive that (either) then here is a valid soruce: https://ldaamerica.org/types-of-learning-disabilities/dysgraphia/

@ taw: The Byzantine Empire is a real thing that actually happened. When the Roman Empire fell to the Goth(s) invaded the Western half became the collection of states (AKA individual countries) that made up the Holy Roman Empire and the East half became the Byzantine Empire which was latter invaded by the Ottomans and when they finaly took Constantinople what was left of the empire fell relatively quickly. If you do not belive me that is your prerogative but the Byzantine Empire WAS real at the time.

A valid sorse if any are: http://www.history.com/topics/ancient-history/byzantine-empire

@ taw: I see what you' re saying, and even though I don't agree 100%, I understand your reasoning. Still, there are quite a few mods "out there" that do what you want (for that particular matter), so you are covered!

zlatky: That line is a joke.

The game has ridiculous mix of English, native languages, and fake words. Like there's native-language "basileus" in English-language kingdom of "Greece", in made up empire called "Byzantine Empire".

It would be OK if game used either consistent English (emperor / Greece / Roman Empire), or some reasonably consistent use of local languages with just Latin spelling (basileus / Hellas / Basileia Rhomaion).

What the game does is just an abomination.
