After some testing, kMinStaticMass doesn't affect things with thrusters, only asteroids and debris (and plants)

I noticed a line in the stock cvars:

# kMinStaticMass = 100000.000

I'm thinking if you de-comment that and set it equal to the mass of your station anchors, they will be truly immobile. Obviously the side effect will be immobilizing any ships that happen to cross that number, so you might want to raise it- a million seems pretty easy to hit on a large capital.

Thanks OzTakeudown; I might do when things settle down on the dev front. Had to pull the plants mod due to game changes. Waiting to see what he has in plans for the next release

If you're talking about the default root blocks for the bee faction. I think they're used as connectors for their buildings.
