This game’s 80 levels are divided up into 4 chapters. The objective of each is to guide Princess Mina to the exit. As an extra challenge, each level has three hidden garlic cloves to collect. Obtain enough garlic cloves to unlock the next chapter (after defeating the level boss.)

Each level starts off in a planning phase, where you manipulate objects within the level to plan out Mina’s path so that she is not exposed to light or caught by enemies. Use the right mouse button to move around the level, scroll wheel to zoom in/out, and the left mouse button to perform the selected action, such as drag objects using the bats. Take note of the location of obstacles, switches, character warps, and of course the exit.

Once finished blocking windows with furniture, etc., click on the play button at the bottom of the screen to switch to the action phase. Mina will begin moving through the map on her own. She will continue moving in her current direction unless she hits a wall, which will turn her around or comes into contact with a directional switch. The direction of the switches can be changed at any time during both phases. Special abilities can also be performed by selecting it (from the bottom bar or keyboard key) and then clicking on Mina or another object for it be used upon.
