When you come across a slider puzzle, the pieces are scattered throughout the immediate vicinity. Collecting the boxes will automatically send you to solve the slider puzzle. If you manage to collect the last box while being attacked, you do not have to finish the battle.

This is really quite interesting...all the puzzles have the same sequences of boxes to push.

1. Make sure the first highlighted piece without moving the selection box is on the top middle of the displayed puzzle. If it isn't, simply reset the puzzle until it is. However if you do not have time for that, when you do reset the puzzle, the first space highlighted is usually space 2.

2. The puzzle is arranged like this after you follow step one. Make sure to go by spaces and not by pieces.
