demo2d

Description
A great starting place for your first skin.

Just edit the pictures it uses and you'll have made your own!

1) Get demo2D:

1a) Subscribe to this and then go to the skin's folder. You'll find the skin's folder, which contains all the skin's files, at steam/steamapps/common/audiosurf 2/skins/76561197968121676/demo2d

1b) Or, instead of subscribing to get it, you can download a copy of demo2d here:
http://audiosurf2.com/gamefiles/demo2D.zip

2) Copy (or unzip if you did 1b) demo2D :
Put a copy of the "demo2D" folder in the steam/steamapps/common/audiosurf 2/skins folder.

3) Name your skin
Rename the "demo2D" folder to a new name. For example, "mycrazyskin". Then, go into the folder and find the "demo2d.lua" file and rename it to match the folder's name. For example, "mycrazyskin.lua".

4) Image editing
Use an image editor (like Photoshop) to change the images files (.png or .jpg) inside your skin folder.

5) Play!
Start up the game, select your skin, and give it a play. You can change images while the game is running and then pause->restart to reload your new image changes.

This is actually a neat idea! I can just adjust the image to any of my artworks!
